Bio Photo "You have to let your body sleep to let your soul live on" - Ozzy

This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it.
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am doing photo requests for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. FIND A GRAVE ADMINISTRATORS SUPPORT THIS POLICY. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.

Please be kind to Photo Volunteers! We are out there in all kinds of weather in a variety of conditions to find your friend's/relative's graves. We are not after a Pulitzer Prize and sometimes even our best effort may produce a not-so-good photo. If any of my photos are not to your liking, please leave me a message and I will try to get a better one. I will not be offended.

I will no longer makes Edits (other than links and dates) for people who do not have their messages turned on. If I have questions, and have no way to contact you, I will not make the Edits. I do not use e-mail; please don't ask.

NOTE: All photos that I have posted on Find a Grave ARE photos that I have taken myself, or, in the case of a few portrait photos, I received permission to use them and it is so stated in the photo's caption. Photos that I've posted of cemetery gates, signs, statues, buildings, points of interest, mausoleums, etc. that have been added to a cemetery's profile page were ALL taken by me and were submitted to the Admins of this site for posting if they chose to do so. Family photos are all photos that are in my possession, taken by me or immediate family members who are no longer living.

Since March 2013 I have taken over management of approximately 25,000 memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

Hi, B.J.,
I felt like sending you a quick note to say 'hello.' I spend little time on Find A Grave these days but I am forever thankful to folks like you who help us to sanctify the souls we've not forgotten. I'll never forget when Dad took us to Inglewood Park Cemetery on Memorial Day in 1963. He wanted to remember those who died fighting for our country. As I get older, I miss my childhood and memories of living in the Hollypark subdivision in Gardena. I hope you are well, B.J..

RE: Please add a grave

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my requests. I'm writing a book and the decease is in the book so that is why I sent a request. I don't have any pics or known live relatives of hers. I live five hours away from there.

I understand and thank you again.

RE: May Robbins - Inglewood
Thank you! I don't know what the plot layouts are like, but maybe it's in the row above or below Etta's row.

RE: May Robbins - Inglewood
Yes indeed! As follows: "May Robbins was interred in the Inside Grave of the Northeasterly , Lot 334, Magnolia Plot. She has a marker." Thx!

RE: Please add a grave

Thank you for letting me know that she added the information for Blanche Bernard. I guess I was asking if you lived near by enough to add a picture of the actual grave.

I removed the photo as you requested.
If you did not set up the memorial there is no need for you to do anything else.
I am sorry I bothered you with the request. It was clearly a mistake. I have a photo I took myself while I was in California somewhere in my files. I can add that when I find it.
The bio I did connects James with the rest of the family whereas the other one does not. It is very generic. I set it up before I realized there was already one made.
I will take care of things myself. No need to bother you further.

RE: James Finley
James Edward Finley was my 2nd great uncle. I created the memorial because I wanted to connect it to the rest of the family which it was not.
I can look through my own photos from California and add the one I took since that seems to be a problem. I didn't even realize he had a memorial already since since he was not connected to the family. I added the photo of his wife in her memorial.(elody21) I cannot add my bio unless you turn over the care of them to me.
Are you a relative?
