I am very responsive and considerate to family members asking for transfers, especially outside of New England. If you have family outside of New England and I manage their memorial I ABSOLUTELY will transfer, regardless of generation. Just ask here on my message board, no questions asked. I will retain memorials for Massachusetts individuals who are early (died before 1800) in most cases I apologize, this is my home turf and I wish to finish connecting and correcting these important early founders. Thousands of people descend from these important people, and as I will be active here daily until I die, and am a passionate certified genealogist of 25+ years, they are best protected from erroneous information in my hands. Thank you for understanding

*Please post any transfer requests to my profile, I will not see your emails unfortunately at the moment. I check messages here almost daily and respond as soon as I do. Thank you for your patience

I have traveled all over New England, where I live and have taken 300K+ photos of gravestones in many cemeteries with no existing transcripts. I am still after 11 years uploading my pictures.

PLEASE do not send detailed memorial changes/errors to the BIO area of a memorial. Send theses messages to my profile messages here. Thank You

Don't be surprised if a Cemetery office or town clerk/sexton tells you that they have no record of a pre-1850 Burial in a particular cemetery. Burial records were almost never recorded before the 1880s, just the death record before that year (roughly). They will likely have NO RECORD of the earlier burials unless they incorporate walk through headstone transcripts into their database and believe me this is rare. Please do not send edits removing individuals who were buried before the 19th century based upon a town clerk or cemetery office. PLEASE, you risk removing accurate memorials and this would be a travesty. Ask a contributor first what his or her source is.

If I manage a memorial for your relative back to perhaps a 4th great grandparent, just send a message here and I will transfer if he/she is not related to me. I will transfer earlier memorials sometimes, please just send me a message here!

Please be polite and respectful, I am a volunteer and will work with you and help in any way I can. I do not hoard memorials, I have photographed over 200,000 graves since 2014 and also taken over management of many inactive members with burials in my local area of New England.

**I Verify and accept/decline name/date change edits one by one, I receive at least 100 a day and process them usually that day. Please do not attempt to change the identity of a person memorialized in order to create your own, I will (and do) catch these, and may report your account**

I don't adhere to the guidelines in terms of generation. It is more difficult to develop memorials which pertain to more recent passings, and they are most often best developed by close family and associates. I am still working on photographing, linking and developing the earlier memorials I have created and am not transferring those out currently.

* I will go and photograph your relative's headstone if they are buried in New England and less than two hours from Northampton, MA. , just ask!*

*I verify all edits in which a name or date change is suggested*
