|Chelle Martin||RE: Mary Platt - suggestion|
Thanks for getting back to me. I assume they are buried in Cedar Falls, but I haven't been able to find that out for sure. I"ll have to see what I can find out.

You've suggested a very specific place of birth for Marvin, which I'm unable to confirm. I have located his obituary, which merely spells out a place of birth being Iowa, matching the 1940 census with his parents.
Can you supply documentation supporting your suggested edit?
|Juanita Arnold||William and Celia Voiles Conner|
In 1850 census are in Tazwell County Illinois. Next to Ratliff Evans who married her sister. On the death record for her daughter also gives Miranda Jane Conner Flathers maiden name as Conner. William and Celia were married in 1848 in Decatur County Indiana. I have the exact date if you need it.
|Juanita Arnold||Miranda Jane Conner Flathers|
She is the daughter of William Conner and Celia Voiles. William was born 1825 Ohio. Celia Voiles was born November 1831 in Decatur County Indiana. In 1850 they are living next to Ratliff Evans. Her sister married him. At that time William and Celia Voiles Conner had no children. All of Ratliff Evans children were born in Indiana. 1860 census records show that William and Celia are in Decatur County Indiana. They have Celia's name spelled wrong on both census records. All of her children were born in Decatur County Indiana. 1870 census for Missouri shows the right spelling for Celia. Ratliff Evans also goes to Missouri as does some of her brothers and sisters. She also had half brothers and sisters. I have been following the Voiles family. From both marriages of Celia's father Benjamin Reece Voiles. Do you. Know where Miranda is in 1880. Celia had a brother or cousin who went to Kansas.

Are you related to John and Miranda Jane Flathers? I can follow Miranda until 1870.

Thanks I have added the information.
Yes...I saw that and I also added a note that her given name at birth was Constance.
You're welcome. In reading her obituary..it doesn't refer to her as Constance anywhere so guess that is another reason why I put Connie. :) Hope family will find her under Connie if they are searching for her burial location. Take care.
Hi, I got your request to change her first name to Constance and nick name to Connie. I am always in a dilemma as to how to list them on find a grave. It appears that most people knew her as Connie. So I think I will leave her site name as Connie, add her middle name by hand and notate that her given name at birth was Constance. And her memorial marker also shows Connie...not Constance. I've also added her full obituary. Sorry.
