I have been researching my family lines since 2000 and have accumulated hundreds of pictures from dozens of cemeteries. I hope by sharing these photos with/on 'Find A Grave' it will help others re-discover their family and their heritage. I will make an effort to display only proved data with sources; and if any mistakes are found, feel free to contact me so we can make the appropriate corrections.
A very special ‘Thank You' to my mentors for getting me jump started; Shawn – Paul Allison, Dave Ash, Thomas B. Gotham, Doug Lyon, Janice Barker-Reeder, Stella Weaver – Ward, Mildred Allison – White.

I called Ohio this morning to confirm that Clark is buried in Grandview. I would like to write up this story for our DAR newsletter as a World War I commemoration. Do you know if there are any pictures of this young man in the family?

Hi George and Happy New Year to you too.
You probably have a good point about Fannie's name. I found the name of 'Francis' in the 1880 US Census. Other than that all other documents say that she is 'Fannie'; it's on her gravestone, and 'Fannie' is also her mother's name. It was more an assumption on my part that 'Francis' may have been her 'christened name'.
No problem, I can correct that.
Fannie and Alexander Bryan (a Civil War veteran) had several children, one of them was David H Bryan (1870-1937) who was my great-grandfather. He grew up in East Liverpool and was a salesman of fine 'Castleton Chinaware'. He retired in Los Angeles and is bured in Whittier, CA. As far as I can find out, he was the only Bryan who settled on the West Coast - which may help explain why I was born in L.A.
Look like we're distant cousins :-)

His tombstone and obit give his birth as 06 Jun 1877, but his birth record states 15 Jun 1877. One source I used to access the birth information gave it as 13 Jun 1877, but that was incorrectly transcribed. Thought I'd send this out to you today.

The information is from the cemetery index which records that his ashes were interred on 6/14/1997 at Sec. C, Block B, Tier 1, Grave 4. The index isn't always accurate, but the office staff are extremely helpful, so give them a call to double check. (216)351-1308

I just found her death certificate issued in Pennsylvania. Her birth is listed as 14 Feb 1862. I originally had her birth as being just 1861. On your grave page, her tombstone lists her birth as 1862. When yins get time, could you change the 1861 to 14 Feb 1862...BTW, today is her 154th birthday.
