I will only do transfers through the memorial's EDIT TAB and usually only within Find-A-Grave guidelines.|
I am a professional photographer and genealogist (over 50 years), and long time historian of Coleman County, Texas (over 40 years). Over 20 years ago, I, along with my wife, Judia, and Vena Bob Gates, published all of the marked grave inscriptions in Coleman County, Texas in the 3 volume, "Coleman County Cemetery Inscriptions." I also have these records online at www.colemanhistory.com.
Judia and I both continue to visit cemeteries, but I do all the computer work. Judia is an artist and does not relate to computers ... she is soooo lucky!
I have welcomed Find-A-Grave to help carry on what myself, my wife and others are doing to keep local history information available and not forgotten. I began in the middle of March 2011 adding burials that have not been added for Coleman County.
I look forward to hearing from anyone interested in the cemeteries and history of Coleman County. Ralph Terry, Coleman, Texas.

Hi Mr. Terry,
I have submitted an edit to correct the parents you have listed for
Billy Earl Dobbs.
Find A Grave Memorial# 78805937
His death certificate shows his parents as William Richardson Dobbs and Rosie May (Johnson) Dobbs. Rosie is the informant on the death certificate. You show his brother, Robert Milam Dobbs, as his father.

Ralph, thank you so much for posting the photos of the markers and their family plot for Stephen Olin and Emma Lane Cotton, Preston P. and Annie Melville Lane Reynolds, and Richard Lane Reynolds to their memorials. Pictures make memorials so much nicer and are such valuable tools for researchers. I appreciate your help and your dedication to those who have gone before us. Happy 4th of July, Pat

Are you telling me that when ever it says the name of the cemetery in the obituary that it is not right? That they just said she was buried there when she is not. Then who do you believe? Respectfully firstname.lastname@example.org # 47230178 Thanks for trying though.
Thank you so much for taking this picture. I can now add it to my family tree.

Ralph have you ever found a young girl by the name of Edna Collier in Coleman County Texas? She was born Sep 1876 and died 18 July 1877. She is the daughter of Charles Joshua Collier and Susan Mitchell Collier. Thanks respectfully email@example.com # 47230178

Mr. Terry I emailed you and would live to talk to you about my grandmother's grave. You don't have her birth date listed and you have her death date wrong.
|Tana (Stephens) Clark||Thank you!!|
My step grandfather was Jack Clint Williams and I appreciate your posting to learn about him. My mom was Helen, the daughter mentioned in the obit.
I'm also the great granddaughter of William and Hattie Futch in the same city cemetery.
I think the city cemetery is so nice and I have childhood memories of visiting there with the Futches.
Thank you for helping to document history.
