Dear Ancestor

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

William Benson Sargent
His first wife is Bertha Valona Wimer (1893-?)and they had 2 daughters: Lenna Leona Sargent (1909-?) and Nellie Sargent (1912-?). I know that Lenna married a Milo Whitlatch and they were divorced but I have no other information at this time. Thank you for your work

Photo request William Bonnell 153730604
Jim, I noticed you have taken a few tombstone pictures at the Piapot Cemetery in Saskatchewan Canada

I am looking to confirm that Corporal William Norman Bonnell is buried there. He enlisted in the army in September 1914 and served as a corporal in the 5th Battalion C.E.F. His Canadian veterans card lists his death as December 16, 1937, but a cemetery transcription lists it as December 14, 1939 so the tombstone may be very worn.

Did you take photos of all the tombstones in the cemetery and maybe have his on file? If not, are you in a position where you may be able to visit the cemetery again and possibly obtain a Photo for me?

His Memorial is # 153730604. Any help would be appreciated - Billy Walker Jacksonville, Florida

I've posted Bernard F and Bernard E Bickford monument pictures and information on Find a Grave, but I am looking for a picture for Franklin and Ethel Bickford Holm monument that I've been unable to attain. Will you be able to take a picture or steer me to someone who will take a picture for me I would much appreciate it.

You're doing a wonderful job on the Motley Cemetery. Didn't know it was so large.
