If you're planning to go to Mount Hope and aren't sure where your family is buried, email me ahead of time and I can send you more information, along with maps of the cemetery. Mount Hope covers a large area and it can be difficult to find a specific burial without a map.
I've completed taking pictures of Mount Hope Cemetery in Webb City, Mo, with the exception of stones added since June 2010, and they are all online. If there wasn't a stone, I took a picture of the space. The pictures that say "space unknown" means I have the block and lot number, but not the space number so I just took a picture of the lot or of an unmarked space in the lot.
I realize that some of my pictures are not all that great, so if you'd like me to try to get a better photo, let me know. If I've made any mistakes or you'd like more information added, just let me know.
Many of the headstone pictures that I've placed on my family's memorials were actually taken by my parents. I have my Mom's permission to use hers and since my Dad's passing, his pictures are now mine. I've created virtual cemeteries for family.
It is not my intention to create duplicate memorials and I try not to but sometimes it happens. Please let me know if I have created a duplicate and I'll remove mine. And I'd appreciate it if you don't create duplicates of ones already on. I am more than happy to transfer management of the memorials I have created unless they are my family. Just click on edit on the memorial and ask for a transfer and include your relationship.
I don't mind sharing the photos I've taken for personal use but I would like to request that others do not take credit for any photos I've taken.

Hi, Kelly ~
My goodness, you are ON it! :-)
I was delighted to read that you have transferred Nellie's Memorial to our (my) care. Thank you so very much!
Again ... I am also very happy to have the lovely picture you took of her grave marker. EXCELLENT photography! :-)
Thanks, too, for your message. You've been most gracious.

Thank you for the memorial of my 3Xs gt. grandmother, Margaret, d/o Robert and Sarah LaRue Hodgen. From the research I have done and in particular from the book, "Six generations of LaRues and Allied Families" by Otis M. Mather, pg. 118 Margaret's name is listed as MARGARET HODGEN. She was not listed with the "larue" after her first name. Correct me if I am wrong or correct the Find A Grave memorial.

Thanks, Kelly! Got all the Myers children in the corral now! I appreciate your help.
I would like to correct the spelling of her first name to Christina Witt and her birth year to 1875 adding information she was born 14 May 1875 in Cromwell, Noble Indiana and died 10 July Joplin, Jasper Missouri.
add memorial #23942998 for James Conklin her Father
and #181272024 for Louisa Jane "Eliza" Taylor her mother
If this is not the correct procedure to add or change a memorial please let me know.
thank you Donna
the memorials are for my great grandparents and great aunt.
as always Thank's ever so much, with Gratitude

Thank you so much for the info! It clears up all my questions!
|julgal||William Raymond Case|
Have you heard about Wm. Raymond Case having another family in Pennsylvania before he moved back to Michigan and married Maude Harris? I am descended from that PA line and I wondered if you had any information.

Can you tell me where the photo that is posted on John Parke, III (59436006)came from? A question was asked if it was accurate or was this a picture of another relative of John Parke, III.
Thank you for all the work you do!

From WWI records, I found John Mitchell Combs' birthdate: 24 AUG 1916
