My research began about a year ago and knowing very little of my parents past I joined ancestry.com. I was born in a DP Camp in Austria after WWII so it was very difficult to get records. I found that information is sometimes available on tombstones which led to this project of forming memorials. I asked a friend if he would write a short biography for his dad for one on my memorials, He said he would be happy to but found it very, very
strange. I assured him this was helping researchers all over the world.
