Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a former Marine and a Vietnam Veteran.
I spent two tours of duty in Vietnam.
Not as lean. Not as mean. But still a Marine!

I can only speak for myself and the photos that I have taken. I am giving my express permission for you to use my photos in any way you see fit in your family research.

I will try to never forget that am a volunteer out here, doing work for you, the absent family member.
I do not selfishly hoard my pictures under the selfish pretense of a 'copyright'. WHO in good conscience could ever selfishly refuse to share OPENLY the photo of another family's grave stone?

If you run across any of my FaG memorials in 'PIONEERS REST CEMETERY' and the photos are considerably smaller then you are accustomed to seeing my name on, it is because they are being shared by the owner of that website and transferred by me with obituaries and other information to FaG from their web site. Originally they were posting them on their site much smaller due to the older camera equipment they had back then as well as the bandwidth limitations the servers offered when the web site began.

Regardless if I created a memorial or if it was one transferred to me, do not be afraid to ask for a transfer from me. NONE of my memorials are in my family tree and I do transfer. I openly welcome and gladly transfer memorials upon request.

My personal transfer guidelines of MY memorials is very open. I like it when you are family of some sort because;
I believe no one takes better care of family then family.

But be Honest because I also believe there may be other valid reasons for wanting a transfer. If it was a close family friend, a next door neighbor that was like family all your life or someone that played an important part in your life that you wish to pay respect to and manage the memorial instead of me, a total stranger. Just explain your reason to me and I will more then likely transfer to you. I have yet to turn anyone down.

RE: Edits
Thank you, for your kind words. Sending more of a reply in a private message. It's terrific how you handle processing edits and suggestions. You do such a great job in the BIO's with your bold text, etc. Keep up the great work, as long as you can!

Hello Larry
I never dreamed I would find my 3rd great grandmother let alone she would have a cemetery stone.
Your photo of her great old stone is wonderful. Thank you for taking the time to make her memorial.

You were right about the 1880 census. We found Jacob living with his son Abram's family in Shelby, Polk County, Nebraska. I have asked the memorial owner to link Jacob 101615494 to Amy. Abram 101614739 son.
I have added all my old photos to this family.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You just made my day, my week oh heck my year!

Gibson Family
Records such as the New Hampshire birth record put Huldah/Hettie's birth date as April 25, 1799. Since the biography of her son John S. Gibson puts her death at "the very advanced age of ninety years", that would make her death around 1889. That same biography lists Jedediah as dying "in 1849, at the age of forty-nine years" and thus his birth date was also around 1800. Since the couple died so far apart time wise, I think that it is possible that they are not buried together and I am operating on the assumption that Huldah might be buried with her son-in-law Enoch Holmes who seems to have died around the same time, but I can't find either of them. The daughter, Harriet Gibson Holmes (Find A Grave Memorial# 174383939) died and is buried in Chicago because, I guess, that is where her only son lived.

Daughter Caroline Gibson Lathrop Crane died in Chicago, but according to the Chicago death record, she seems to have been sent to back to Racine, Wisconsin to be buried. Perhaps she was buried with her first husband, Richard/Dick Lathrop. No record of either of them, so I can’t tell if they were in the same cemetery was the parents. Her second husband was Jacob Crane (I think).

The daughter Mary Jane Gibson Mygatt is buried in Kenosha, Wisconsin (Find A Grave Memorial# 120481354), but there is no Jedadiah Gibson in that cemetery, nor is the youngest Gibson daughter, Genevieve Gibson, buried there.
That is as far as I can get at this point.

Frank Gibson
Thank you for offering to transfer Frank Gibson's memorial, but I am not a relative. I just have an interest in Lakeside Cemetery where his relatives are buried. I have been trying to find Jedediah T. and Hettie (Rollins) Gibson, but can only find their descendants, so far.

I am just once again trying to let you know what I see as I know it really upsets your day for me to not immediately get to your request. But if you are ok I am. Just trying to help you out.
