I have always been interested in genealogy for as long as I can remember. I was blessed to have grown up near my grandmother, who happened to remember a lot of family names and stories. :) I credit my passion (or obsession to some...ha ha) as coming from her. I also happen to have a fondness for old cemeteries.|
I have no problem transferring memorials to people who ask. I like to document whole cemeteries, giving me a lot of memorials that I have no relation to. So feel free to ask! :) On a side note, please do not email me asking for detailed info about cemeteries (like who is buried there, etc.). I do not have any specific information on a cemetery, other than what you see on this website. I find some on a map, and some are stumbled upon by just driving down the road.
I also do not mind if someone would like to copy my gravestone pictures for their family trees. It would be nice to receive a credit mention where ever you might post the pictures...but at the same time, it won't hurt my feelings if I don't. The pictures I take are for the "greater good" and I take them, hoping that someone out there will find them...maybe they might even help someone piece together part of their family tree that's been a mystery! :)
My family names: Carlisle, Rosan, Lively, Burton, Mathis, Ussery, Miles, Hicks, Lavender, Gustin, Trill, Offerman, Ritter, Wabbena, Sternberg, Tekstra, Doescher, Atkins/Adkins, Paton/Payton, Robinson, Bonham, Cleavenger, Barnett, Crawford, Fuller, Russell, Halfacre (just to name a few!)

Thank you for responding! I appreciate the transfers. My Russell's were in Massac County and in Kentucky. But as you said, who knows if they are all related!

Hi. I would been keen to see the research you have linking Catharine Miles to Pascal Miles. I have a 4th great grandmother, Celia Sarah (Uknown) Miles who I believe is Pascal's mother. If you can access ancestry.com you will find the supporting research in the Potter & Shupe Family Connections, Edwards Co., IL" tree. That you for assisting me in researching my family roots. Regards, Phil Gates
I took the liberty of adding his veterans stone. If you would rather I didn't delete it or, if you can't let me know and I will. Don't me to step on any ones toes.

I was wondering in what section of the Jonesboro Cemetery did you find Catherine's tombstone? Also if you happen to know a possible burial location of Jacob. I have looked at St. John's, where it has been thought he was buried with no luck.

Dear Amanda, Elizabeth is my 3X great grandmother. Her daughter, Melinda (Hicks) Ginger is my 2X great grandmother. So, nice to meet you distant cousin. I am going to ask for a couple of transfers by SAC edit for Lucy Simmons and one of her sons, William Goodwin. They are in Pell Cemetery. I'm so thankful you are in that area and take such wonderful photographs. The cemetery cat photo is gorgeous! And, wow, your'e related to George Washington. Our families go way back. Nice to meet you. Lily
