I have been the family historian for my family since about 1992. I love the challenge of finding and adding missing ancestors to my family data file. Hardly a day goes by that I don't work on genealogy in some capacity. |
One of my biggest family mysteries is one of my Great Grandfathers, Francis Marion Robinson. He was born abt 1837 in Tennessee. He married Mary Jane Patton 09 Sep 1868 in Pope County, Arkansas. They had two daughters, Samantha A (Born abt 1868) and Mary Elizabeth (Born 07 Jan 1870). I have never been able to find the parents for Francis Marion. If anyone has any info on him please please pass it to me. I am also trying to find where Francis and his wife, Mary Jane are buried. I am hoping one day the info for Francis and Mary Jane will surface at FindaGrave.
In addition to my own family genealogy I am interested in adding memorials to FindaGrave.
I have photographed tombstones in Cemeteries in Marion County, and Linn County,Oregon.
I thought this would be a good way to "pass forward" all the wonderful help I have received from others while working on my own family research.
If you want me to make any changes on a memorial, please go to the memorial and click on the edit button,Please and Thanks you.

Betty, My name is Lynette Sholes Baker. John's son Charles R. Apple is my great-uncle..He married my grandfather's sister Amanda Herrling. I am wondering if you are related to or know anyone related to Charlie and Amanda, and if you have any more information on this family.
Thank you for all the information you put on FG. I don't know anything about Charlies family except what you have put on FG.
Blessings to you.

Thanks to have your reply so quickly.
Best wishes to you... with greetings from Germany, Ingke
Yes, he was in the same cemetery, the same name, the same dates for him, but the other was put up Sept 15 and had a photo of the stone... I double checked, as sometimes I make mistakes. The other contributor must have deleted it as yours is the only one there now...thank you for your response.
