Bio Photo BERKSHIRE - TWO HUNDRED YEARS IN PICTURES 1961 illustrated by Norman Rockwell

Lord, help me dig into the past

and sift the sand of time

that I might find the roots that make

this family tree of mine.

Lord, help me trace the ancient roads

on which my fathers trod

and led them through so many lands

to find our present sod

Lord, help me find an ancient book

or dusty manuscript,

that's safely hidden now away

in some forgotten crypt.

Lord, let it bridge the gaps that haunt

my soul when I can't find,

this missing link between a name

that ends the same as mine.

- Robert Wood

I noticed that you're related to the Pelletreau family from New York. This is also part of my family. Would love to make the connection!

I walked Meeting House Hill Cemetery twice and I couldn't find his grave. Next time I'm there (it's only a block from my house) I'll try again just in case my husband and I missed it but I'm guessing his gravestone is one of the ones that is unreadable or his grave is unmarked.

The article "Wore Husbands Suit While Washing Dress" appeared in the Wilkes Barre Times Leader on Wednesday, March 16, 1921 on page 6, columns 6 and 7.

Mabel Bump McIntyre
Hi Michele
Mabel Bump, wife of Hiram McIntyre, buried in Alander Cementery in Mount Washington was born November 4, 1862 in Arlington, Vermont and died May 4, 1934 in Sunderland Vermont. (5 1/2 years before I was born). Her parents were Clark Bump and Frances McDonald. After Hiram died, she married John Delaney of Arlington, Vermont and had at least 2 sons, Martin Richard Delaney and John L. Delaney. I have no records of children with Hiram McIntyre. Warren R. As you may have seen in my bio, I could care less about the ridiculous "guidelines Find A Grave has for memorial transfers. I am pleased to give these memorials a more fitting ownership any time someone has more of a claim that I do.
I am happy to make this transfer for you.
All the best,
Ken M.
