Albert Franklin and Mary Ann Newman
Hi again Gary,
I forgot to mention that Mary A Newman's maiden name was Newman also. Her parents are James Henry and Adeline "Maxey" Newman...
Thanks
JoAnna

RE: Adeline And Richard Newman
Hi Gary,
I get most of my information from the Ky death and census records. Also from the Owensboro Daviess County obituaries.
Richard F Newman, Adeline Elizabeth Newman and also Margaret "Newman" Wathen are the children of Albert F and Mary A Newman. They are all in the Newman/Lightfoot Cemetery that you cleaned up. I think I sent edits on their memorials so you can link them together.
Hope this info helps you figure out where these people fit in with your family line..
Thanks
JoAnna

Adeline And Richard Newman
Hi Gary,
I noticed on the memorials of Adeline Elizabeth Newman and Richard F Newman, that there is a note stating that they are husband and wife...They are actually brother and sister.
If you look them up on the Kentucky 1930 census, you will see this info stated there.
I'm entering their parents memorial numbers for approval. If you don't mind removing the notes, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you
JoAnna

RE: Thomas V Newman
Hi Gary,
I am sorry I am so late answering, I have been traveling on the mainland and just recently returned home. I have that Mary Sally Newman's maiden name was McQuiddy. I found a reference of proof and will be happy to share with you. Here is the header:
Thomas McQuiddy, Soldier pg 2
July 11 1835 December 17 1838
Kentuckey
Sourse Virgina Soldiers of 1776..pg 1195 1196.. Recived of Register of Land Office Warrant # 8650 for 100 acres, issued December 17 1835 to Heirs of Thomas McQuiddy

Thomas McQuiddy was her father. The page lists Thomas Newman as husband and all the children.

please email me and I will send you the page.

RE: Thomas V Newman
Hi Gary,
All this information is new to me. Thank you so much for sharing. My branch ended up in Kansas and I am trying to reach back to a Newman Revolutionary War patriot. And trying to piece together why they went to Kansas. I have another cousin that has worked on this line for years and I am sure she would be delighted to "chat" with you.
I live in Hawaii do we are far behind everyone else in time.
Again, thank you

Thomas V Newman
Hi Gary,
I am descended from Thomas Vawter Newman. His family moved to Kansas after his death. Would your memorial be for the same Thomas V Newman? His wife and children came from Kentucky and I am trying to locate his burial place.
Thank you
Victoria
