James McDonald's father was named Robert but I do not have his mothers information. I have 1880, Ozark, Dale County, Alabama as his death. James is husband to my first cousin 5x removed.

So the R. is probably Robert?

With reference to James McDonald, middle initial is R. in the Land Grant office dated 1875 of which U.S. Grant signed and I added it to his grave info on find a grave.

My name is Glenn Parker from Ohio. I am the GGGson from Samuel and Sarah "Sally" Parker(Beckerdite). My father was Lewis Parker, son of Willis, son of Elijah, son of William, Samuel, son of David and the son of Saul. Most of the relatives were from Tennessee, Kentucky and move into the Montgomery County, Ohio area. If you would like to compare notes on our ancestry, send me a message. Take Care.

This family is also in my family tree. I have hundreds of names linked to the Wilkinson Parker family tree. This is my third cousin four times removed, but I also have some closer in family tree. If you are interested I have links for this family that includes photos, stories etc. on my ancestry.com family tree.

Thank you for Delight's maiden name. I have adopted the Grant City cemetery and try to get as much information on all the memorials I have added to this cemetery. Geo

Hello this is my 3rd great grandfather, and do you have any information on where Mary Ann Thomas McDonald is buried? Also do you have her DOB and DOD as 15 DEC 1811 - 1875?

RE: Rev Elisha Davis
Hi Kathy: thank you for the reminder about the correction regarding Louisa Jane - since I put the bio up I did find that the child the census enumerator mistakenly noted as male was indeed Louisa Jane. I have some other information on Rev. Davis I found in the book "The History of Webster County" I will add to the bio. I descend from his son John Bartow Davis so you and are indeed cousins. I am happy to add your information to my family tree database as I had not researched Louisa Jane any further. I will contact you in a bit and I will give you what I have.
