Bio and Links
Bio Photo A link in the chain has been broken;
Your loved one has gone to rest.
But through your tear dimmed eyes you see,
That a loving God knows best.
And you must go on without her, and though your loss is great,
She will be there to meet you
At Heaven's Golden Gate.

By Marvel Bennett, written for my mother, Lois Goodman Skinner
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says,
"Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song,
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine thru.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again.

William Earl Goodman
In doing research into the Adams branch of my family, I came across the entry you made for William Earl Goodman, born 1896, died 1974. You list his parents as Finley and Mary Goodman, and siblings as Florence Goodman Wise, Raymond C. Goodman and Edna Goodman Bowser with their birth and death dates. However, the parents of my William E. Goodman are Lawson Hamilton Goodman and Lillian Blanche Adams and according to the Census records for 1900, 1910 and 1920 for Perry Twp., Clarion Co., Pennsylvania, he had the following siblings: Inez, Johnnie, Elton, Erma, Harry, Bell, Myrtle, Dale and Alvin. In trying to solve this dilemma, I discovered that Finley Goodman and Mary Daughenbaugh were not married til 1912 (Clarion County Marriage Records,, so they couldn't possibly have been the parents of William Earl Goodman and Florence Goodman Wise. Not sure how this mix-up occurred, but thought I would bring it to your attention. Sincerely, Carol Rifenberrick
