Bio Photo I've been adding and linking the Sebastian Lasher family that arrived in Germantown, New York in 1710 for the last few years.

If you are related I would love to hear from you and we are distant cousins.

Plass Memorials in Germantown
Thank you so much for the transfers, Janet. This is a great help to me as I'm regularly working on this family and would like to update these memorials from time to time. I appreciate all of your help!

Transfer
I am requesting transfer of Oliver Orton (147759699). I am Oliver's Son, Ryan, best friend of 28 years. I knew and loved Oliver as my own Father. His family is not on this site nor do I think they are aware of it. I would like to have the transfer to me to keep safe keeping of it for them. I am the closest to family that would take it over. Thank you

Douglas & Edna Lasher
Hello Janet.
I added photos to their memorials. Sorry I could not get a focused image, the names are barely readable. I can read them but I know what they should be. Indoor photography is difficult because of the reflections on the glass surfaces.
I suggested changes to the "plots" to make them more accurate, although I do not know why Forest Lawn calls "columns" "rows"; maybe to save space on the permit. I got the information from the burial permits and 1 cremation permit. They include more information about location of birth and death for Douglas. Also his mother is identified as Amelia Smith.
I can send the 3 documents to you if you wish.

You might try this site: http://www.shacksboromuseum.com/cemetery-list.html

It's a museum down the road from me (and the cemetery) and houses a terrific collection of information. If the kids' name are known, I would bet the museum has that info.

If there's a charge to mail or scan, let me know. I'm literally walking distance and would be happy to run over there and grab something to scan and email you.

Thanks! Sorry I didn't get all the connection finished; I was at a continuing education course today for work.

You're welcome Janet!
If you can contact Live Oak cemetery in Monrovia Ca. and get the locations of Russell Lasher's parents I'll get the photos for you. I do not do well getting locations from that cemetery staff.
