Ship Hampden
I would love to know more about that trip our ancestors took on the ship Hampden, wouldn't you? That's the only piece I've ever found. Is there a way I can send you the copy of the newspaper article that I got this info from? It's not much, as you read it, but still it gives me chills.

You are welcome to use it in your memorial as well. The article has a note at the bottom that it's copyrighted so we can't post the actual article.

RE: Elizabeth Pinney
Could you supply a memorial # for Elizabeth Pinney ? I can also transfer her to your care. I am not related or have any connection to the family. Thanks... Michael

memorial #1134533
In the memorial for Angeline Burnor you mentioned she was first married to John Petee. My great grandfather is that John Petee. However, I have not been able to confirm that they were married by seeing a marriage record etc. I was wondering if you have information that confirms their marriage that you would be willing to share?

I posted all of the Civil War Vets that were not already posted. I used a list created by Eloise Amy Haven.

We have been sttempting to post photos of their tombstones. I notcied this new tombstone for Daniel Griswold and took the photo. I have no additional information.

Do you have proof that he is buried in Ohio ?

Tangled web.

I transferred Claude to you. I also checked the website for Inglewood Cemetery, his mother Frances is buried there as well. Their website doesn't include people buried before 1974 but it wouldn't surprise me if Claude's father is buried there as well, you can email the cemetery to find out, here is a link to the cemetery website, I believe you can email them from this page:

I have to say this: You've done a really fine job of connecting families and adding research for so many people in these cemeteries. It's been a pleasure following in your footsteps after a recent visit to the Elliston cemetery by adding headstone photos to some the profile pages you've created. I only had to actually do pages myself for a few people.
