I would appreciate bio's about someone you know in this area and I will enter them. I will not transfer any entries unless it is a parent or sibling.

You have links to 2 children who are not his children.

Catherina Elizabeth Kunkel Reifers and Nettie Luella Kunkel Coffield are daughters of Heinrich F. Kunkel and Elizabeth Braun.

Heinrich Kunkel and Maria Franz Kunkel had 2 boys who died at a young age.

They may have had a daughter as well but she too passed away. I haven't established proof of this yet.

There were three Kunkel brothers Tobias, Henry and Frederick. Henry F. Kunkel is the son of Frederick and Catharina Bornn. Heinrich F Kunkel was first married to Maria Loewen and then second Elizabeth Braun. Both Catherina and Nettie are daughters from his second wife.

Sincerely,
Nancy Knoll

Estelle Peterson Curwen
Hi Gene,

This is my second request for you to transfer Estelle Peterson Curwen’s memorial (#98183049) to me. She was my grandmother. She had one son, my father - we are her only direct descendants. As my request falls within the guidelines of findagrave.com, I don’t see where there is an issue regarding the transfer of her memorial to me. I would like to add photos and information about her to the memorial.

I appreciate your quick response to my request.

Thank you,
Audrey Foreman

Hi Gene, just looked at your profile and see you live in SE South Dakota. I grew up in Deadwood, but my parents both were from eastern SD. I am also retired and now live in Tucson AZ.

Carl A Simon
Hi Gene, I have submitted some edits on Carl A Simon and his mother Louisa Heinz. Carl was the son of Louisa and her second husband Fred Simon, from whom she was later divorced. Carl was the half brother of my grandfather. Just wanted to give you this info as it is not intuitively obvious that Carl is Louisa's son. I have not located the grave of his father.

Lewis David Bartels Transfer Request
Hi Gene,

I'm requesting the transfer of my great-grandfather's memorial to me for the 2nd time. I didn't hear back from you when I sent a request via his memorial in July so I'm trying again. His name was Lewis David Bartels, Memorial #49365718. Thank you for creating the memorial but I'd like to manage it for our family. His grandson is my father and he's now 95 years young. My request falls within the 4 generation guidelines for transfers by FIndAGrave: "Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren."

Thank you. I'll also email you directly and leave a message on your page on FindAGrave.

Hello! I received a message from Find A Grave yesterday requesting me to photograph this headstone. It appears the headstone was uploaded two years ago. Would you happen to know whether a new photograph is needed or this was a mistake? Thank you in advance.

Hargrove family monument picture
Hello, I see you uploaded the Hargrove Family Monument to some of the Hargrove memorials of Rosehill Cem. Would you be able to upload that picture to the memorials of Ben and Lucinda Hargrove as they do not have headstones but are part of the family. Thank you for your help.

Not following Find A Grave guidelines you have agreed to
The guidelines are 4 generation not the 2 generation you list. I've went through Find A Grave and they transferred my great grandparents and grandparents when contributor didn't honor the 4 generation guidelines you agree to. Thanks
