I am the mom of two teenage daughters who usually don't find this as much fun as I do. My husband questions my sanity, but humors me. I look forward to the day I can take cemetery photos full-time.|
I am a member of the Christian County Illinois Genealogical Society and am their webmaster.

I have been working on researching my wife's family for some of her relatives. One of her cousins is the daughter of Richard Eugene Jeisy, who was the son of Wesley August Jeisy.
While searching for Wesley on Family Search, I discovered he had been married four times. Richard's mother was Eva Mae (Jones) Jeisy.
When I went on Find A Grave, I found Wesley is buried with his fourth wife Alice Pearl (Davis) Jeisy (ID #58846386). Eva is ID #124778795.
I have been unable to locate the other two wives, Francis E. (Preacher) - wife #2, and Mattie Blanche (Hill) - wife #1.
They are not blood relatives to my wife. I am just searching that line as a favor to my wife's cousin.

|Margaret McNeely||Margaret Nancy Rumple Ellis|
Just saw her name on this page. My great-granddad Gus (Harvey Augustus Rumple) was her brother. They were born in Statesville, NC. My grandfather, Thomas Alexander Rumple used to visit them in Illinois. His mother was Neely (Cornelia) Ellis, probably John William's sister; I am just beginning with this part of my family. I was looking to see where her husband John William Ellis was hit by the Wabash train and found you. I am getting together with Steven Ellis sometime soon. His great-granddad was Victor Ellis.
