Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for several years and have taken several pictures of my family and relatives grave stones. I am a retired pastor and my wife and I do a lot of traveling. I have many hobbies but photography probably tops the list even though some pictures don't come out the way I want. When I take a picture I try to make it as readable as I can and try to post all that is on the stone. I'm not just trying to post to get a large number but to help others with genealogy as I have been helped.
I have found a lot of newspaper articles and the funeral brochures that my parents had of people that I didn't know but I have posted several. I would be glad to help in any way that I can. I will transfer your relatives or close friends if they are not my relatives.
You may use any pictures that I have posted for genealogy purposes only.

Rev. William Thomas "W.T." Witherspoon
Hello Rev. Sims,
I am the granddaughter of William Thomas Witherspoon. I would like to have Rev. Witherspoon's memorial transferred to me if you wouldn't mind. I have created and am still creating other memorials for this family as well.

Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to post the lengthy biography of my grandfather's life in the church. Did you know him?

Best regards,
Martha Witherspoon Kelley

David Rowley
There is very little information on David Rowley (1904- before 2003) son of Thomas Rowley 81321985. If you come across his grave, I would appreciate being notified. Most of my early Rowley and Hoover relatives are buried in Christian and Shelby Counties. David should not be confused with Morgan Davir Rowley (1903-1960) buried in Pana. Do have any advice how to find a lost grave except family lore?

Thank you.

Cora Frazer Rowley
My Great Grandfather Thomas Rowley (81321985) is in Mound Cemetery, Pana, Il. I can't find the grave of wife Cora Frazer Rowley. Do you know if she is in Mound.

Thank you for work work on keeping people alive by memorializing their resting spot.

Rev William Emmanuel Booth-Clibborn
Rev Dale,

I found the above named memorial placed by you. I appreciate this very much as I'm try to put together a short biographical sketch of early Salvation Army figures, beginning with the Founder and his wife, William and Catherine Booth.

I noticed there were several items missing or incorrect. I made corrections as to where William was born and died, and corrected his middle name, which was Emmanuel.

I have located information on the cemetery that he and his wife, Beulah Belle (McGinnis), are buried. There is another memorial on Find A Grave for him (Memorial #136427416) which has the cemetery listing. The name of the cemetery is:

Wilhelm's Portland Memorial
Portland, Multnomah, Oregon

BTW, My babysitter would take my sister and I to his church once a week during the summers. I didn't know how he fit in to William Booth's genealogy until I attended The Salvation Army School for Officers' Training in 1986.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter. May God bless you and your family during this most joyous time of the year. Merry Christmas!

Are you close to Pana, IL? I'm looking for a pic of William Gudehus' stone. I suspect that his 2nd wife might have been buried with/near him.

I have done a pic request.

Thanks you for taking the picture of my 3x g-grandfather in Zion Cemetery. I knew he died in that area, but I never knew which cemetery. I noticed his wife Nancy Chambers is not listed. Do you believe she may be in that cemetery and not photographed? If you would be so gracious as to transfer him to me , I would very much appreciate it. If not I could give you some of his family to link to him. Thanks again, Mark Miller
