Bio and Links
Bio Photo Transfers I'm happy to transfer memorials to relatives upon request as long as you're within FAG guidelines - please make sure you send your relationship to the deceased and your F-a-G number with your request. I ADHERE TO FAG POLICY ON TRANSFERS: Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

If you have a correction, additional information or an obituary or bio, send it along THROUGH THE EDIT TAB PLEASE and I'll add it to the memorial.

If you have a complaint, be nice and I'll address it as soon as humanly possible.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT POST EDITS ON THIS PAGE. IF YOU HAVE AN EDIT YOU'D LIKE ON A MEMORIAL, USE THE EDIT TAB WITHIN THE MEMORIAL. I WILL DELETE ANY MESSAGES POSTED HERE REQUESTING EDITS OR TRANSFERS. SEND YOUR EDIT REQUESTS THROUGH THE INDIVIDUAL MEMORIAL IF YOU WANT IT DONE.

Death Certificates - I'm fine with it - they supply invaluable information to researchers - post away.

Lisle E. Carney/Sunset mem Cem
Hi imagal49,

You sent me an edit to delete my memorial for Lisle E. Carney, a cousin. Although both were entered on the same day mine seems to be the first one added according the the memorial numbers. So if you'd like to add your photo to mine I've already requested the second one be deleted.
Thanks for taking the photos and for your hard work and efforts.
I've added links to his mother Margaret Helen Borland Carney and his wife Frances Koch Carney, both of which you added.
Have a great day!
Jill

RE: wm campbell
i am surprise you have been maintaining the graves of Loderick and Mary Pryor Garrett without checking it out. I ask my friend John Pyle a des. of Loderick to check it out he went to the office of Cookeville City Cemetery and they said they had no record of Loderick and Mary Pryor Garrett. I also have Mary's pension papers where she received for her sons dying during war its has that she died Nov. 8,1898.
I did find out that Mr. Campbell is not a direct des. of Loderick Garrett.
I would never put my name to any kind of material I did not first check out. I would take my time and check it out. Not checking things out is the cause of repeated errors.

James Lee Alcorn Memorial# 67653161
Strange things happen. Another Allcorn/Alcorn-Blackburn researcher sent me a message in reference to this same thing. I am sure the individual will not mind if I add the comment on their tree. It is as follows:
"Whoever made the marker has inaccurate information on it as he died sometime after the 1860 census as did his wife who was a Blackburn not a Johnson".

We, plus another researcher that I have corresponded with for years, all agree that the death dates on the stone are incorrect based on the census records of 1860 and 1870 showing this couple alive with James doing work as a blacksmith.

I realize that the memorial stone pictured on this memorial has that he died in 1855 and has the date of death for his wife Elizabeth prior to 1870 as well. But who is the James Alcorn and Elizabeth Alcorn in the 1870 census? Their ages fall in line with that of this couple in the 1850 & 1860 census records.
1870 CD 9, P. O . Cookeville, Putnam, TN census taken 20 Jul: ACON, James 68 blacksmith, Elizabeth 66 keeping house.

who is Wm. Campbell that orginaly created the find-a-grave's for Loderick and Mary Pryor Garrett in Cookeville city Cemetery in Putnam Co.,TN

I had a friend to check this out yesterday the office has no records for either a Loderick or Mary Garrett I had toughtt this was wrong because they were living in Overton county now Pickett when they died so why would they be taken so far in those days.
do you know where Mr. Campbell got is info and in maintaining it did you ever check for accuracy.

Are you related to Loderick? My friend that checked it out is a desendant my email is rp8643323@yahoo.com
thanks,
Richard W. Pierce
