Please do not request to add a birth date calculated from the gravestone, unless the complete age is known or listed (y/m/d). Dates that do not agree with stone and are not primary sourced will be placed in the bio section or declined.

Transfer requests must be submitted via a SAC and must provide the exact relationship and be within guidelines.
Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested if you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree outside guidelines is not grounds for a management transfer request. Transfer requests that do not include relationship to deceased or are out of guidelines are deleted.

Upon request, personal use of photos will be given with proper credit or a findagrave link.

Old Tongore Cemetery
Hi, I submitted 2 edits for you in this cemetery. Abbie Teas & John L. Winchell. The dates on their headstone are birth dates. The death dates were not inscribed.

Mountain View Cemetery
I see you added the photos of the cemetery and was wondering if you by chance lived close by to see if someone's stone can be found in that particular cemetery. My family members church records indicates they are buried in Mt. View, Saugerties. If you'd like to help me find them, please email me through my profile, contact address. Thank you so very much! Barnabas Horton
Thank you for taking the time to photograph and share the grave marker for Barnabas Horton. Through research I believe that he may be my 10th Great Grandfather. May I use your photograph in my personal family tree file? I use these photographs as an additional source documenting the life & death of my ancestors and their descendants. I will so note that it is being used with permission from Find A Grave Contributor: Fred Saar #46511066.
Thank you again for your time & effort, it is greatly appreciated.

Sunnyside Farm Cemetery
Hi Fred, Have you ever been to Van Alstyne plot at Sunnyside? I would love to see some pics of the plot. I'm a direct descendant of Marten Abraham Van Alstyne who died c. Jan 1791 and is probably buried on the plot with his wife, Catharina Van Alstyne. There are many others that I think are buried there. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this farm appears to be directly west of Lindenwald.
Thanks,

Krum Stones
Hi Fred: I wonder if you can tell me where you found the five Krum gravestones (Martin, Jacob, Barbary, etc.) in Chatham Center, NY. I'm working on the Krum family history (mostly in the Krum cemetery in Hillsdale) and would like to go to the spot and view these outliers, if possible. You created the entry in 2014. I am wondering if this might be a small family plot on private land? Thanks for your help.

RE: Paul Adams.
I've contacted several of the cemeteries that they have stones in, but NONE of them have any record of them being buried there. I asked Why would they have stones there if they aren't buried there? No one knows! I also asked "Would there be any paperwork if they just had stones placed there as cenotaphs" and every place has answered YES, they should have paperwork, even for just a stone. So I'm totally baffled. One place was going to check and see if there was a stone there. He said it was POURING down rain at the time and he would call me back today. I'll let you know what I find out!

LOL! Of the space kind or the border kind?!
One stone (in Brevard) has a different YOD for Betty. It's listed as 1995, but everything else is identical!

RE: Paul Adams.
Did they have two different stones at Florida Memorial Gardens? It was weird that the stones were the exact opposite of each other, one had Paul on the left and the stone in the other cemetery had Paul on the right.
