Do not mind you using my photos,but, please give me credit, thanks.|
I have been a member starting 2011 so the 3 year thing is not correct
Taken thousands of pictures and still have many to post.
Finding families all over the United States. And making connections so yes the family can be traced. Many generation as Find a Grave states find your ancestors.
Search many types of records and newspapers and find verification about not only family but pictures of non family to me but have connected their families. family
What is irritating me lately is the self appointed ambassadors of this site. The ones that are superior to other members and write a mile long bio. How their method is the only correct way and are rude to other members that everyone should follow the rules written by them.
Now some say can not link an unknown burial. Well this site says find your ancestors. And a method to find your ancestors is to link your family together . That is why there are parents, spouses and siblings. Now occasionally there are unmarked graves, incorrect or omitted records or worse yet floods that destroyed many headstones and records. Have many family members living near Conklingville, Saratoga Co, New York, USA where there are now 381 sites unidentified.
So there is a method to create an unknown site. This helps links the family tree which there is nothing that prohibits this as it is made possible from Find a Grave. The argument is but I have found an unknown grave site and took a picture and the creator refuses to delete theirs. Why the greed all you have to do is edit and locate the grave site and add your picture. You do not have to have complete control of all the memorials.
And these same people post incorrect information for years and have families tracing the wrong people as family. Some longer than 8 years. When notified by edit with verification they have not the decency to acknowledge the contributor. When questioned instead of giving credit , it was deleted. delete the edit information , how human and compassion. They say I must send my source as it was not available 8 years prior. Well if you had looked at the census of all the wives one would clearly see who were the children of the 2nd wife. In 1870 clearly shows both daughters and Name of 1st husband. Once mother married 2nd husband. census listed children with 2nd husbands name , common errors. But it is not her fault, it some one else fault.
But all good they are linked anyway with verification of all,
Also some of these people praise themselves to no end.... Well Got news for them we all have horrid stories getting a picture adverse weather , cold, heat high grass. bugs etc, etc. But we do not need to stand on a pedestal .

Dave, I just added the photos to John & Catherine Connery's memorial pages. I see that Catherine's date of death was 1889, not 1888 as I previously told you, sorry. Hope this gives you a little more info. Dawn

Hi Dave, you're welcome, glad we could help. Yes, you have my permission to use the photos for your family tree. I took a picture of the other side of the monument, the names on it were John Connery, died Aug 26, 1888 and Mary Connery died Jan 8, 1888. Are they maternal grandparents of Eddie? I do not recall seeing any other Harrison graves in the immediate area. I will check the next time I am out that way again. Dawn

Hi David, Thank you for taking the pictures and letting us use your photo's. The one of Francis is very easy to read. I will be using the one of Francis Fox in my family tree book. I know who her parents were, but am still searching for her grandparents. Her mother, Deborah [last name unknown, was from Saratoga Co.. Her father was from somewhere in CT. arriving in Saratoga Co. before 1819 when his 1st child was born [probably in Halfmoon]. Thanks again. Pat

Thanks for getting back to me, David. I did find Emily Wray with her father, William in 1850 and 1855, and so that's good enough for me.
|Janet Muff||Emily wife of Frederick Wray|
Thanks for the edit giving me Emily's maiden name, which apparently is also Wray. Please send a source for this information and I'll be happy to make the edit.
