Grave # 138753168
Hi Was doing some work on the Smith family and came across Smith, Edna C. On the grave stone the dates are July 1 1902 and Aug 26 1902 but on your information you put the dates as 1862 instead of 1902 is the correct, I know some times they do get the wrong dates inscribed by mistake. which one is correct?

Thanks for clarification...never really noticed the name in gray before.

Okey dokey. I'll accept the edit and explain the variations in the bio.
|Sharon Fulton||Peter Depew|
What is your source for Peter's place of birth? The reason I ask is that his death certificate says he was born in Flamborough. Bartonville is close but not the same as Flamborough.
Information taken from parish register burials 1813-1900 found Sarah buried 30th March 1836 aged 51, William Bethel buried 29th April 1864 aged 78 both in Wrawby churchyard.

Just poking about looking for Willson families and noticed you have a duplicate of John Willson. One has more information.
Wonderful work on these families.

|Fred McRae||Rev. John Grossman Cline Portrait|
Loraine - just poking around on the internet and found this wonderful portrait. John Cline Sr. is my 5th great grandfather. I am beyond thrilled to see this portrait.
As an amateur genealogist and as I am sure you know, this is significant for me. I so thank you for sharing this - so much appreciated.
By the way - your portrait and I assume the portrait of your husband is really great.
|Gloria Day||RE: Re Samuel Popplewell|
Samuel was the son of Samuel Popplewell and of Bessie Dosser, who was my 2nd great-grand-aunt.
I have worked the Dosser line for 25 years in English, Canadian and Michigan records.
I would be honored to have his memorial transferred to me.

The memorial for Hannah (Alton) Bray (#118050391) appears to be internally inconsistent. The bio section says "Daughter of John Alton and Jane Jacques Alton", but the parent links are to Thomas Alton and Charlotte Cleaver.
Thomas and Charlotte (Cleaver) Alton did have a daughter Hannah, but she was b.24 Jul 1823 and d.20 Apr 1832, age 8, according to family records.
I have no information as to the correctness of the bio.
