Bio and Links
Bio Photo I recently found the Find-A-Grave site and am so please that it has enabled me to find the graves of so many family members. So . . . I am doing my part to post those tombstone photos that I have taken myself to share those with others.

I'm happy to take over the management of any memorials that are within my "family circle" if you'd like me to - or just to make "corrections" and suggestions and let you manage it! Let's all just work together to get family link connections to "keep the family together"!

Dear Jan,

I'm researching my O'Donnell roots in Nebraska, Virginia and hopefully beyond. My father Delbert Joseph O'Donnell was born near Bloomfield Nebraska in 1917. His father Joseph O'Donnell died in 1918 of the WWI flu epidemic, after which time he and his mother Ida Redford O'Donnell relocated to Cambridge NE. After that move, my dad had little to no contact with his O'Donnell relatives. My dad passed in 1995.

I recently obtained a copy of the marriage license of my great aunt Mary Ellen O'Donnell and Edward G. Klingforth dated Sept 22, 1910, in Knox County Nebraska.

On the marriage license it states Edward's mother's maiden name as "Mary Brusch"

I'm very new at this genealogical journey but enjoying it very much. I'm also interested in learning more about how to add to/ maintain ? my dad's (and eventually my mother's) entry.

Thanks! Love the website FindaGrave!

Sincerely,
Elizabeth (Liz) O'Donnell Ehlert

RE: thank you
You need to ask that question to the creator of the memorial. I know both Ascue and Askew surnames are found in this cemetery. Marvin's headstone was adjacent to headstones for Thomas H. 1877-1962, America J. 1881-1975 and Beatrice N. 1908-? and I believe their name was spelled Ascue also. I will send an edit to the creator of the memorial to change the spelling of the name.

When I first saw Hickory Hill, I thought I recognized the name. Never dreamed a connection with our family tree.
Do you have the names of the other children not listed on her Find A Grave info? From the picture, I believe there were six shown, and only three listed on her info. Also, do you have any info as to Henry Lewis Morgan's parents? His marriage cert. listed James as his fa., but nothing else, so I hit a "brick wall" on the Morgans.

Hi Jan!
I didn't know India had any other siblings, either, till you told of Susan.
India's fa., Henry Lewis, married 1st Louisa Dorcas Poston King, with whom he had Ben, Tom, & Henry Clinton Morgan. Also, on census records, there is a Mary (know nothing else about) and a 3 mos. dau., with no name given. BTW, Louisa had been married before and had four children by that marriage. It's a bit confusing, isn't it?
Ben is my great-grandfather. Some of this info I didn't know till I found Henry's "Find A Grave" posting.
Would be happy to share info, if you want. I'm thrilled to add Susan to the family tree!
