Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have always been fascinated by old cemeteries and the paranormal. {Ghosts don't scare me, people do!} I lived my whole life behind a huge cemetery. Many times a week I would walk among the 200 year old markers at Union Cemetery, Old Aldrich grounds and the Old Bank Cemetery and feel that they all had a story to tell. Many, many children died in their early age and it's too bad that many markers were just unnamed stones or they didn't have markers. When I do find a grave without a monument, I will place flowers and photograph the plot where they are buried.
My lineage: Denomme, Morel, Doire, Defosses, Lanoue, Metivier,Provencal, Bergeron, Lafontaine,

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it.

All updates/corrections/transfers can be sent using the Edit/SAC process.

NOTE: You have my permission to use any photo I've taken and posted on FAG in your own family research. A note of credit would be appreciated.

Currently working on updating Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, RI and plot numbers for Slatersville Cemetery, North Smithfield, RI

Can't find them on FAG? Send me an email and I'll glady help you find your relatives!

RE: Issac Bowen 128395082 & family in Swan Point Cem.
I believe I am distantly related to the Isaac Bowen family at Swan Point. However I spent a lot of time in their house in Providence when my grandparents owned it. So that is why I am researching the Bowens. Thanks again for processing my edits.

Leontine (Cartier) Berard
Hello,

I noticed that the death date for memorial #63350322 for Leontine (Cartier) Berard is April 22, 1953 but the correct date of death is December 22, 1953. I have added a link to prove the date of death.

http://worldconnect.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=:a13559&id=I000308

Also, there is also another memorial for this same person, memorial #10143148. It was created by someone else. I don't know if you can merge the two or if you need to work with the other person.

Thank you,

Tammy

Wrong year of death
Hello again. Memorial# 64341938 for Remi Rondeau, he died in 1906 but the memorial says 1886. His stone is engraved as being 1906. Could you please correct the year of death? Thank you very much!

Two memorials for the same person
Hello,

I am working on my family tree and I came across a relative that has two memorials on Find A Grave. Her name is Alice Chauvin (Maiden name) Memorial# 63864810 and her married name is Alice Cartier Memorial# 63864285. She is buried in Precious Blood Cemetery in Woonsocket. She was the wife of Aime Cartier. Not sure if there should be two memorials for one person.
