Bio and Links
Bio Photo My sister and I have been photographing all the markers in Oak Grove Cemetery in Pawtucket, RI. I am not related to the majority of them, so feel free to request a transfer if you have a relationship to any that I am managing.

I also give permission for anyone to use the photographs I am posting on If you want uncropped then email me with surname & date of photo.

I would like to extend my gratitude to the Oak Grove Civil War Cemetery Restoration (Facebook group) for their hard work on uncovering and repairing the grave markers at Oak Grove.

I need your help
I want to add a grave to the database and want to be sure that I won't screw it up.

The person, Arlen (Arlan) Coolidge was my professor of music at Brown.

He was such a gentleman and never mentioned that he was a world class violinist or that he founded the RI Philharmonic!

Such a sweet person!

Another sign that George had died bef 1880 is that his wife had remarried by then

You are right. I am so used to seeing the DOD on those sheets (after looking at hundreds of them) that I missed that all together. Anyway, we know he died before 1883. He's not listed in the 1880 census, that shouuld have made me suspicious. Since his last known residence was Smithfield, RI, I will check with their clerk and see if they have a date of death.
Thanks for the good eye

RE: # 81528195 David Patt
Not a problem, bad transcription and no birth record :-)

The Tryphena I though might have been her PATT mother turned out to be the one I gave you born 1826 that m Joseph Billington, her older cousin.

I'm going to try and find out if this Joseph is another brother of those two Billington brothers Daniel and James who died in the Windsor Locks Ct. train disaster. Do you remember that from the NP017 Lymannille Mill cemetery Ken worked on where it was almost all children?
