|Chad Johnson||Hey Gilbert|
Yep, I live about a half hour from downtown Phoenix. Would be great to meet you and share what info I have. Im not as organized as most, but getting there! My interest has always been on the Children of John and Lydia Bollman Stover and there families, some of who have I still havent found. I found one great article abt the families history and how it pertains to Ft. Vasquez this last summer. I knew about it from one source but wanted to find at least another.
|Chad Johnson||Hi Cousin|
I wanted to let you know that I've got more pics to scan and get to you. I think you might be able to help me identify them, or we can compare who we think they are. I got them from my Great Aunt this last summer in South Dakota. I want to get them posted online as well.

Gilbert, Thank you for your kind words, my heart goes out to you. You're in my prayers.
|Kabs||Woollett, Bernard J|
For some reason I can't find the link for reuesting a photo anymore, so thought to ask if you can find and photograph a headstone for me.
In his obituary, Bernard J Woollett is stated as being buried in the veterans section of the Our Mother of Sorrows cemetery, Reno, Nevada. Date of death...16 July 1962. His name does not appear in the cemetery's database on Finda grave, so not sure if the database is complete.
Hoping you can help or at least point me in the right direction.

Hi Bert - are you doing any volunteer photography? I have put in a photo request, but no volunteers were listed at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery. I see that you have done some work there. Just today, I was able to locate an obituary for my uncle, that tells that is his burial site.
Hi Gilbert, fyi, according to the Weld County cemetery book, that is all of the Stover's and Bruce's that are in Hillside, at least up until the 1970's. We have not photographed the entire cemetery yet but expect to at some point. Cheers, Cathy

Hi Gilbert, I was out at Hillside today and found more Bruce, Stover and Brown people that you may want to take a look at. The pictures aren't done yet, but that won't take long. From the book, it looks like this is all of your family that was buried there up until the 1970's or so. Let me know if you are related and want to assume the memorials. Cheers, Cathy

Hi Gilbert, I just got the new memorials posted with pictures. There were 2 Stover names and a few more Bruce's. Let me know which ones you want to have ownership of. We didn't finish Hillside cemetery yet; we want to finish Platteville first and the weather didn't cooperate yesterday - too cold! We may be gluttons for punishment, but too hot or too cold is where we draw the line! Hillside is interesting since there's so many Japanese headstones with no English translation. Cheers, Cathy and Steve

Hi Gilbert, We made a trip to Hillside today to do your photo request. Didn't find them yet, but it's a large cemetery with no kiosk. It was hot today, and we ran out of steam! We'll go again soon. We did find some other Bruce's that you should look at; and May and Charlie Williams. May was on the back of a Bruce headstone, so assume she's related. Charlie was in an adjoining plot. Let me know if you want ownership of these memorials. We took quite a few pictures and there were some Stover names, too (as in Nellie Stover's memorial). Cathy and Steve
