Geneology and my love of photography are joined together in documenting and connecting families here and past. My brother helps clean up old and unvisited cemeteries in Montague county where I was born. My sister and I are continuing the geneology started by our mother tracing the family of: ALIG, BASS, BAYER, BEHL, BEST, BEYER, CLER, EISENMENGER, FETSCH, FLUSCHE, GILLES, KLEISS, HOENIG, HARTMAN, HAUSMANN, HETTINGER, KAPPES, KOELZER, KOBLITZ, NEU, NEWMAN, OTTO, ROEDER, RUND, SCHAFER, SCHWEIGHART, SOMMERS, VOGEL, WALTERSCHEID, and their descendents.|
Benjamin Franklin said: "Show me your burial grounds and I'll show you a measure of the civility of a community."
A good character is the best tombstone.
Those who loved you will remember.

|Patricia Moore||Evergreen Cemetery Leominster, MA edits|
ALL edits must have proper sources added using the last editing option on the edit tab. This option allows for you to add text which will be sent to me in an email notification. I do not change any information from the original record without verifying the source and if correct, I will accept the edit. If not, the edit will be rejected with a note as to why. Thank you for your efforts to add additional information. Pat

I saw your name on this link below. I am new to Find a Grave and doing genealogy research so please excuse any naiivety. Do you have any idea where the information attached to this grave link comes from? This information below, may be slightly incorrect, or maybe not. I'd like to chat with who put in the info to compare records and see if I can learn more about my family history. I'm having a particular hard time with this ancestor's family background. There's some contradicting stories from various sources. Thank you, let me know if you would like to email or Facebook instead. https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=115638055

|Shan Clark||Charles R Gordon #178131271|
You sent an edit for Charles giving his birth year as 1806. I have checked everywhere and can not find definitive sources that is was not "around" 1806 but actually 1806. Can you let me know your source so I can cite it in the bio section?
Thanks so much.
|Shan Clark||Eugene Young memorial #98963707|
Thank you for the transfer of Eugene's memorial. I have added tons of the details I had researched. By chance can you tell me if the photo of his memorial you took had someone else's headstone to the left? If so, who? Also, do you know where in the cemetery you found the headstone? Woodlawn Cemetery does not have a location in it's database. I know it may not be possible to answer those questions, but it doesn't hurt to ask!
Thank you again.
Thank you very much.
Do you have any info on John Keel, Sr. He did not marry Milly Gossom (mother of William E. Keel) until he was 42 years old. There is a John Keel Jr in Warren County, KY. I think John Sr had a family prior to his marrying Milly. John Jr is my grt, grt grt grandfather. John Sr. father was probably James b. 1743 England.
|David Rodgers||Unlink Parents of #45090969|
Looks like my attempted edit to unlink parents of # 45090969 failed. The error message implied that action needed to be done at another memorial. I did go to the memorials for the parents - #160606240 and #33196891, but see no edit choice to have children unlinked at parents memorials.
Isn't the child memorial the only place to link or unlink from parents?
|David Rodgers||Mary Etta Keller|
Sorry....looks like I am not going to succeed in getting all linking associated with this done as I had hoped....so think it much better to remove the partials....including this one which you had entered for me a couple of weeks ago. Sorry for causing the extra work. Regards, David
|Joy Ann Strasser||Maurice Mosley|
Thank you for catching that. Someone apparently suggested it and I approved it without checking. I need to look closer in the future.
