Bio Photo This site has been such a great help in my family research. I have added my family info in hopes that it may help others.
I am researching the following families and their branches: Strouhal, Ferguson and McClendon settled in Texas, Bailey settled in Louisiana and the Newcity(Villeneuve), Twombly, Kidder, Grow, Brown families (and their branches) settled in the northeast in Vermont, NH, Mass, Ohio etc. Also researching the White family (Miss.) from my Uncle James L White.
Let me know if you see anything that needs correcting or if you have additional info. Please use the edit tab when sending the information. Have a nice day....

Milo Grow 100079052
Milo's story it told in "Civil War Love Stories" by Gill Paul [Metro Books 2013].
Educated at Dartmouth, Milo moved to Albany, GA in 1853 and opened his own school.
Milo died of diphtheria while his brother David was arranging his release.

Hi Susan, the memorial for Sarah (my 3x great aunt) was created by my aunt and I'm sure she will update the cemetery if it can be identified. I read somewhere that it was the Kelly Cemetery on Trim Road but I'm not positive. Veloyce

RE: Elsie Mae Sappington Newcity
Yes I would love to manage Elsie,s memorial she was in my life from the time I was born until she passed. I have very little on the Newcity family. My E-Mail is I have a few pictures of Tommy I will send you. Tommy's mother and father are buried here in Jacksonville I assume you know that, I remember his mother but his father had already passed when I was born.

RE: Frances Ferguson Brown memorial28273466
Hi Susan! I will have to look to see if there are any photos of her but I do have a newspaper clipping around somewhere about her and her mother Mildred dying in an automobile accident. Both Frances'daughters, Pauline and Elsie (my grandmother) were injured in that same accident on Dec. 10, 1928. I think all the passengers were related to us in some way. I can try and copy/scan the clipping when I find it if you want.
