Genealogy and graving, are two of my many hobbies. I'm also a history buff.|
I started recording cemeteries over 8 years ago
-- that's history and genealogy all rolled up into one. Walking cemeteries is also another way to get some exercise. Since I'm former military, I try and get photos of military gravestones.
I also try and help people find their ancestors in portions of Beaver and Washington counties, Pennsylvania; East Liverpool, Ohio and Chester, West Virginia.
I'm one of those genealogy search angels. If you are at that proverbial brickwall with your genealogy research in Beaver County, Pa., Hancock County, WV and/or Columbiana County, Ohio, I'll be glad to try and help in your search.
I also put abbreviated obits on FindAGrave that I see in the newspaper. If you see any errors or want to add something to any of my submissions, please let me know. If you want to make corrections to a memorial, please use the edit button on the memorial. I'll be able to get to the memorial and edit it a lot quicker going thru findagrave's system.
I'm also more than glad to transfer memorials to family members. Please include your member number.
If you are going to email me, please include the memorial's link as well as your member number.
Please list FindAGrave and/or the name of the cemetery in the subject line so your email doesn't end up as Spam and possibly get deleted.
If you want to suggest changes to a memorial, please use the edit tab on the memorial.
In accordance with Findagrave: Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Thank you so much for getting this picture. I didn't expect at this time of year to be so quick in reply.

I would like to thank you for the memorials to my mother and my father Lester A. Gaines, but I would like to offer a correction. My sister Vivian "Joanne" States was married to Darrel E. States, not Daniel.

I don't know how you are, but I must thank you for all your work. I am working on my family tree, and thanks to you, so many questions on the tree are now answered. The photos make all the difference in the world, and I know how much work is involved in taking the photos and making the memorials.
I wish you all the best.

Yes, all my photos were posted shortly after my visit there. We took photos of every stone. Maybe I missed some??? I'm just home from a weekend in Pittsburgh (I live near Philly) so I'll be able to give you more info when I get myself together here.

I'm going to look into this. Gary Caldwell (who has done extensive research there) has Crider, Jane, d. 19 Aug 1872, age: 75yr. Gina Nestor (another local researcher) has a listing for the same person. Will see what I can find when I have a minute and let you know. Enjoy the day!

Hi believe from records. I took photos of all stones here...readable or not. Unfortunately, many stones unreadable and there was a huge pile of stones near shed---so sad to see that! If you know for certain she's not at Cross Creek let me know and I'll remove.

Thanks for the reply to my note, but my notes from PA show that the father for this Moses md to Narcissa Burkhart was the Samuel Trent (Sr.) and his mother was the Mary (Knupp) Trent of Somerset, PA...... for my own info, where does this Harrison come from? Thanks, Scott Trent - VA
