I have done extensive work with genealogy for many years and have included much information on my Horne and Carpenter families in findagrave. Also, researching and updating information on all people interred in the Scandinavian Cenetery in Forest Lake in conjunction with the cemetery board is a special focus. For the memorials in that cemetery that are not maintained by me, I may have additional information that I have researched that has not been able to be added. New information for that cemetery is entered into findagrave when it is available.

You're welcome. I envy that you have the time and talent to bring all the memorials online for this particular cemetery in Forest Lake. Especially the GPS coordinates and the plot locations to help people find the specific burials.

In the very early days of Find A Grave, I found and documented the locations of all cemeteries within Chisago County. But I also traveled out into surrounding counties because some cemeteries were misrepresented or not online at all. People were "making up" cemeteries so I thought it would be important to get them established, even though I would only add gate photos and some notable markers photos I shot while on site.

After they were setup and in the proper place, I realized I had my hands full with 42 cemeteries in "my" county. So the out-of-bounds locations sat, waiting for others to pick up the torch! And here you are! Thanks! :)

As you know, families spread out in the area and members will be found in different counties. I am glad to help link those who ventured out from the original settlements in Taylors Falls and Center City.

Best regards,

Robert Chudek, Director
Chisago County Historical Society

Will try to remember but no guarantee, others may also prevail with the entries. Simply request a transfer from me for any you would like to have.

Thanks for doing a thorough search, and I appreciate your reply that the headstone not located in that cemetery. I will now put on my detective cap and see if her memorial is located elsewhere.

I put in some edits from my family tree connecting parents and children tonight. Yes, Frank and August are Jonas and Lottie's sons. August was named for his uncle August who was my great grandfather. I love watching your photographed percentage go up!

Glad to have helped, Devon, as you can see it looks like the marker was partially and maybe completely buried until recently. Someone went through the cemetery either last fall or this spring and uncovered a lot of markers, luckily for us!
