Bio

All the photographs that I take are of the stones "as found". I do not use chalk or any other material to highlight any carvings. I try to achieve the best detail through lighting and digital enhancement.

Don't forget to check the captions of my photos. I often will include notes there.

Please let me know by email if you see any memorials that you would like to manage. Include your member ID number and relationship to the individual. I loosely follow the guidelines of Find A Grave for transfer requests. I really like to see memorials managed by a family member. So contact me if you would like a memorial transferred to you.

Besides exploring old cemeteries I'm also working on my family history. Here are my current "brick walls". Please contact me if you're working on any of these lines or have any leads that I can follow.

EMNOTT, LONGWARE, VANORNAM in Essex County, NY
PERRY in VT and Essex County NY
FISHER in CT and Westchester County NY
MORT in NY, VT and ENGLAND
{Trying to locate where Albert (AKA Abraham or possibly William) Mort and his wife Florence Lyon(s) are buried. Possible areas are NY City or Troy, NY. Both were dead by perhaps 1877 or before.}
