TO POTENTIAL CONTRIBUTORS OF "ADDITIONAL INFO":
I appreciate additional info to memorials which I've created/maintain, but PLEASE LIMIT your info. This site is called FIND-A-GRAVE, not "Find The Genealogy History Of...".
I do not feel it at all appropriate to turn a memorial into an entire "genealogy work". Certainly it will be ONE, OF MANY valuable resources for genealogists in their research.
***I DO NOT POST OBITS, post 1922***
Please refer to Find A Grave's rules of use under FAQ, by clicking on "Help with Find A Grave" in the left-side menu.
I will not list a person who does not have a DOD inscribed on their stone, unless I have verified their death. Many people have pre-ordered their cemetery markers for the "inevitable", thus their name and DOB being posted online BEFORE THEY DIE, is a violation to their privacy.
I endeavor to compare NAMES and DATES, so that I don't create an entry for someone previously listed by another variation of their name, so please let me know if I have duplicated a memorial.
NOTE: 99% of the headstone photos I've added are best viewed when "clicked-on".

|Mary ||RE: Richard Family edits|
Thank you for allowing the edits on the Richard family. If at anytime you would consider transferring them to me, I would do my best to take good care of them. My son is also into our family history and will eventually take over my memorials when I am gone, hopefully not for a long time though! I am only interested in family memorials to care for.

Thank you for creating memorial for the Richard Family Cemetery in Alachua, FL. The Richard family is my husband's great grandmother's line on his Boston family side.
I have been to the cemetery and noted that some do not have full names. I have a book written by a descendant of the Richard family that is well researched. Along with the Boston family records, I checked and verified information so that I felt confident in sending in edits about names and in some cases adding parents so that most of the 16 children John Charles and Melinda had will show up on the memorials. I hope that you will allow the edits to go through.
May I ask are you a relative of this family? They were an interesting bunch to say the least. My husband's GGM was Henri French Richard who married William King Boston. The Boston Farm boardered the Sugar Grove Plantation, the home of the Richard Family.

|Benjamin Rubin||RE: Elizabeth C. Murrell|
I calculated the DOB based on the information you provided for how long they lived. For example, I Elizabeth Murrell died Jun. 26, 1871, and the stone said she lived 14 years, 8 months, and 15 days, so I simply did the math from there.

I think I picked it up from her husband or children's memorials which had her name in the bio section. Your call.
