Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello, my name is Laura. I live in a small town in Ohio. I got into ancestry about 3 years ago and have been tring to find out who my ancesters are and where they came from. In search for my ancesters I figured I try to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it. If by any chance you come across a family member that I have set up then just let me know. Also I also try to dig a little deeper to provide more information on loved ones.I also try and find death records and if I do then I will post. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. If your family member is one I did I will be than happy to transfer names.

RE: My Grandfather
Hi Laura
This is my Mom she is on findagrave.com also.
Here is her name Joyce Dunn Hewitt and here is her link http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=141545386

Thomas Jacob Dunn was her father and my name is
Edward Virgil Hewitt Jr.
I'm a Junior and my father is Edward Virgil Hewitt

I was just astonished to find my grandfather and mother on here.
The picture of my grandfather on his link here
is the same photo my mom had it was a large photo
Black and White like size 10" x14" and it was a keep sake to her.
I was only 8 months old when my Grandfather passed and I never even knew him.. I was soo young. My mom told me tales of my grand father being like some Warden of a prison Camp and that he was Murdered. I'm not sure how he even obtained the title of Captain Thomas J. Dunn you can research any part of the family history you want to I don't mind.. you probably have more and better tools than I have. I have tried Google but haven't had much Luck. My mom had a brother named James Dunn and he was from Arkansas. Thank you for all your help. If you need anymore information just let me know. take care :)

My Grandfather
Hi Laura ,
I see you posted some information of FindaGrave.come about my grandfather Capt Thomas J Dunn
I sure do appreciate that very very much as I don't have much information about him at all.
There is a picture of him left by Dee Dunn
and that picture is the same exact one my mom use to show me when I was a little child.

You can contact me if you want.
I would like to dig deeper into my grandfather
Capt Thomas J Dunn

Ora Elizabeth Pontius
Hi Laura,
Ora Elizabeth's maiden name should read Hall rather than Hines, I sent an edit for that. Her Bio should be changed to David and Delila Hall per the 1870 Census, born Indiana.
Thanks,
Mark

I am sure you know more
about the family than I do or ever will, but :)
Just thought I'd leave an encouraging note, that your siblings born previous to, seem to be right on target with the 1920 Census

Richard & Geraldine Seymour
You are so precious in doing this, and such a lovely job! I don't want anything transferred to me, I wouldn't maintain it. But, I did notice something that at least confused me. So just in case.

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=21438670 Where the link from Geraldine's memorial goes

https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/find-a-grave-prod/photos/2007/250/21438670_118930308982.jpg

This headstone shows a Richard Seymour buried with a Sybil M... with a reference to their children.
His wife is listed as Geraldine Fast,
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=37698938
A Geraldine Fast was married to a Richard Roy Seymour. But ??

Name Richard Roy Seymour
Event Type Marriage
Event Date 14 Mar 1936
Event Place Madison, Ohio, United States
Age 22
Birth Year (Estimated) 1914
Father's Name Ben Seymour
Mother's Name Laura Davis
Spouse's Name Geraldine Fast
Spouse's Titles and Terms Miss
Spouse's Age 21
Spouse's Birth Year (Estimated) 1915
Spouse's Father's Name Oliver Fast
Spouse's Mother's Name Della May Taynor

He may have been remarried, but that is not clear in the information. Perhaps it is a different Richard Seymour and the links ? need to be adjusted ?

I don't know enough at this point, so I am not arguing any point at all, just noticing something that doesn't quite fit the way it is by itself. Sorry :/ I don't really know more and can't help much, but thought I'd mention it in case :)

David ?? Betts
Re: memorial for David Cornwell Betts (1917-2009) at Forest Cemetery in Circleville. I am wondering if his middle name is spelled accurately on the memorial you created. The brass marker for David Betts spells his middle name as "Cornell", rather than " Cornwell". I see a number of family trees at Ancestry.com that spell it with the "w", but I haven't seen a source for that spelling other than your memorial.

Hi Laura,
I see you added my Father's half-brother Joseph W Parker.

I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider transferring his Memorial to me. I am trying to connect the entire family.

Thank you, Linda
