Bio Photo I am retired and willing to help gather photos and other relevant information. Perhaps I will get a chance to help YOU. "Paying it forward" is the key! Happy hunting!! Sorry, but I do not do Canadian searches.

I would be happy to transfer any of my memorials to you. I add many people that have nothing to do with me, so feel free.

Good morning Karen and thank you for the transfer.
Since I live in Mackinac County, I have many records, and I just found something on Bernard so I was eager to get it included in his record. I'm
sure I have his parents names (somewhere),and I will find them again in boxes . Until my computer crashed few years ago - I could find my rec=
ords immediately.
Thanks again, Karen.

Thank you. The father, Theophile Trempe was married to a Sara Buck. This is a line of Trempe that I have problem linking. I suspect Sara is a Native.

Best regards

Old City Cemetery
Thanks so much, Karen for the detailed explanation about the cemetery.

The ancestor that we have been searching for is Adelaide Sauve-Laplant Boisvert Sobraro. Her sister was Dosithee Bonneau (Bono, Bunno). Adelaide's 1st husband was Edward Boisvert, 2nd husband Francois (Francis) Sobraro. We were able to trace all of these people up until 1850 except for Adelaide. We followed her until the 1850 census, but the trail ended there. Her 2nd husband married another women in 1853. We guessed, because there is no further information that we could find, that Adelaide died. She was of the Catholic faith.

If you find anything after 1850 about Adelaide, I will owe you big time :)

Joseph Lalonde

Hi Karen,

I was just reading your description of Joseph's memorial, and I am wondering if you have any further information re:the Old City Cemetery.
ie: where was it located, how many souls were buried there, when did it close, were all of the bodies removed to other cemeteries?

Thanks for any additional information that you may have.

RE: Anthoni Radomski
Thanks for the information. I knew that you were not related but you responded to a J. Thom last July and it looked like she was looking for information on Anthony Radomski. I think I forwarded her the same info but new to this so hope I hit the right buttons!
Yes, Julia Bozik is my great-grandmother, she was widowed from Anthony Radomski and re-married George Bozik. Alexander Robinson (name changed from Radomski) was Anthony's and Julia's son.
Charles and Victoria (Julia and Anthony's daughter) Reilly are my grand-parents. The name Susan Reilly is new to me. She was not married to Charles but wonder if she was somehow related. A number of Reilly siblings came from the Boston area in the late 1890's I assume to work on the locks but my grandfather Charles was the only one who remained with the others all eventually returning to Boston area.
In your post to J. Thom last July you referenced that Anthony's parents on death certificate were listed as Michael Radomski and Kati Mekarski from Poland. As far as additional information, when you have time, the death certificate of Julia (Radomski) Bozik would presumably give me the names of her parents which I don't have. Again, thanks.

RE: Thanks!
I found a couple more Mansfields at the same cemetery that I just requested photos for, but if they were buried in the same place then they are probably all gone. Some has posted a marker for 3 of the kids that died within a few days of each other, so I wonder what happened there...

Anthony Radomski
Hi there!

Thank you so much for the photos of Anthonys headstone along with the additional information! You said that he was buried in a plot purchased by Mrs. A Radomski. Do you happen to know if that was his wife? And are there any other Radomski's buried by him?
