|Steve Peters||Dolly Fowler Clark|
I hope you are still on here.
My name is Steve Peters and I am tracing down the family of Eli & Mary Peters Young. They had a daughter named Florence Young who apparently married Thomas C Fowler in Hardin County, IA. I see that you have a picture of their daughter Dolly.
Do you know anything about Florence and her mother, Mary Peters Young? I can't find the young family in the census records after the 1860 Morgan county, Ohio census. The children are all getting married in Hardin County, IA around the year 1870, but they are not in the census records.
Is it possible to get a clearer picture of Dolly than the one on Find A Grave?Is it possible to get Dolly and Florence's descendants from you or someone. I am trying to keep track of the Peters family descendants.
My ancestor, Isaac Peters, and your ancestor, Mary Peters Young were both the children of Isaac & Christena Reese Peters.

Thank you for posting on Find A Grave.

I hope I got these straight, if not let me know. It was difficult for me because of the Jr. and II.

Thank you for the information on the Zumwalt family. I'm related to the Zumwalt through their daughter, Caroline, that married William Owen Burnam(#34522269). Caroline and William would be my gg-grandparents. Would it be possible to link them? Thanks. Grace Donnadieu Murphy
|Ronnie McCarrell||Adam Zumwalt& family|
A few days ago while doing research for a friend I had cause to go to the Slayden Zumwalt Cemetery and noticed the great work that you had done the on behalf of your family. While trying to determine the oldest marker there I read your bio for Adam "Red" Zumwalt. What a great story, the history should be preserved. If you have time you could google the Whon Cemetery in Coleman County in Find A Grave and scroll down to the picture I took of their historical marker. When you double click on it you see how wonderful it is... The Zumwalt family deserves the same. I am clueless and its easy for me to say somebody else ought to do something but I was wondering if Gonzales County has a Historical Commission that would be interested in this...best of luck & I will mind my own business now...Ronnie Mc
PS: The cemetery is grown up with grassburrs and stickers making it impossible to walk around right now...

If you would like to send me a high res. photo of him, I can retouch it and make it nice.
