RE: LAURA LIGHTON
Looks good to me.

She is something like a 10th cousin to me.

RE: LAURA LIGHTON
memorial #145601760

The headstone she has for this memorial is actually called a centagraph headstone.

I suggest you KEEP this memorial. Reason being is that someone else will come along not knowing the history we do and create another memorial.

The info you have has two typo's that I see. I suggest you copy and replace your bio info with this info below.

The headstone in this memorial is called a centagraph headstone.

Laura's name is on the same stone as Nancy & James Leighton. Laura was second wife of Jacob.
She died in 1939 and is buried in Rosehill Memorial Park Cemetery at Minot,Ward Co, ND. Memorial# 181789167. The family do not have any headstones, or the cemetery records are not correct for place.

RE: LAURA LIGHTON
Thanks. I remember now. Memorial# 145601760 Birth: Dec. 3, 1847

I believe she has another memorial. See Memorial# 181789167. I was trying to locate family relationship for another family member and came across this memorial that I think is hers also.

According to this website.
https://apps.nd.gov/doh/certificates/deathCertSearch.htm
Input name and search dates. Best to use calendar year range. Surname only works best for me.

LEIGHTON, LAURA M
Date of Death 01/18/1939
Date of Birth 12/03/1847
County of Death Ward

Same birth date. I am unable to locate any headstones for the family.

I believe she moved to Minot, ND after her husband died to be near her son Kalita E. Leighton Memorial# 120813536. I have no idea where she is buried for sure. However the cemetery records claim she is buried here.

Do you Know the memorial number? The only two memorials I see with this name do not look familiar.

Peter C and Inger Marie Ericksen
Hi,

I am working on a biographical sketch of Carrie Marie Ericksen, 1876-1962. She is the daughter of Peter and Inger Ericksen. She served as a missionary to China from 1903-1907.

Are you aware of any relatives of this family that I might contact. My email: lonsager@andrews.edu.

Thank you,

Larry Onsager

RE: NUMBER OF UNKNOWN BURIALS
Thanks for the reply. Hopefully, when the new sign goes up, someone will get a photo to post and also post the GPS coordinates to map the cemetery. Haven't been able to find the coordinates anywhere.

My apologies but I can only enter what the source provides. I am leaving the memorial as is until I receive corrected information from the county or cemetery.
