|Connie Taylor||RE: Hello|
Jerry, although I have been on findagrave for a while, I'm just recently getting more involved (with a mentor) and I am still very much a novice. My sister, Alice, always called Oscar "Lee" so that is how I think of him. Alice had four children when she and Lee were married. They had one more together. She adored Lee and was so happy to have finally found her true love. She was totally devastated when he died so young. You said he was your uncle. Is your mother his sister? I have an obituary for Lee somewhere. I will look for it, but it may take a while to locate.

|Jenean Hamilton||Maeders in Greenwood|
I went to Greenwood to fulfill your photo requests today, unfortunately, I had a little camera trouble and some of the photos didn't turn out. I will go back soon to complete the photos. In addition, there is a little discrepancy in the birth date for Fred. In the family plot with Frieda, Mother and Father stones. Father, Fred, has dates of 1866-1912. There is also a marker for Fred, listed as F. Maeder, on the large IOOF marker in a different location in the cemetery, with dates of 1869-1912 listed in the transcription. I will try to get a photo of that inscription as well. Jenean
|Stephanie Booth||RE: Emily Mecham Haws|
Polly Celestia Mecham and Emily Mecham were double first cousins. Their fathers were brothers and their mothers were sisters.
My husband is a descendant of Emily Mecham and William Haws.

That is the most classic photo on F.A.G. OMG!!!
442nd I will try to help for anything you need. That unit holds a very deep respect in my heart after watching Ken Burns the War.
Tadashi T Takeuchi is one of them I have researched.

I just enlarged your profile pix. ROTFLMAO. I gotta know if it's just a photo shop job, the marker for a person who'd changed his name [or whose parents had a weird sense of humor] or somebody really spent a bunch of bucks on a cruel -- but absolutely hilarious -- joke.
