Kathryn Murphy
Hello Karen,

Please advise if you have any information on Abraham Lincoln Jones b- May 1864 Knox County, KY. I have him as the son of James and Sarah Hammons Jones. I saw the Widow's Pension you posted on Findagrave for Sarah Elizabeth Hammons Jones Broughton. Was surprised to see it stated she had only one child James W Jones. Before I disconnect Abraham Jones from James and Sarah Hammons Jones thought I would see if you have any ideas.

Abraham Lincoln Jones and Eliza D Warren Jones are my gggrandparents.

Thank you,
Kathryn Brown Murphy

Pulaski County KY Jones Surname
Pulaski County KY Jones Surname

I am trying to find my oldest-known grandfather’s grave. I’ll call him “Father Jones”. It is reported that he died in Pulaski County, Kentucky. I cannot find a grave or any records on him. If you have any information on him or know of someone I can contact, please let me know!!

Father Jones had four sons; Alexander, James, Robert, William and Thomas. Thomas was the only one born in Pulaski County around 1800. Father Jones died between Thomas’ birth and the War of 1812. It is stated that Father Jones died prior to his son Robert joining the War of 1812.

Any help that anyone can provide would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Karen, I'll be happy to transfer any memorials that I have that belong to your husbands family. I copied the cemetery information from a book but am not related to all of the individuals. Just send me those you would like to have and include you member number. Linda
