Geneology and my love of photography are joined together in documenting and connecting families here and past. My brother helps clean up old and unvisited cemeteries in Montague county where I was born. My sister and I are continuing the geneology started by our mother tracing the family of: ALIG, BASS, BAYER, BEHL, BEST, BEYER, CLER, EISENMENGER, FETSCH, FLUSCHE, GILLES, KLEISS, HOENIG, HARTMAN, HAUSMANN, HETTINGER, KAPPES, KOELZER, KOBLITZ, NEU, NEWMAN, OTTO, ROEDER, RUND, SCHAFER, SCHWEIGHART, SOMMERS, VOGEL, WALTERSCHEID, and their descendents.|
Benjamin Franklin said: "Show me your burial grounds and I'll show you a measure of the civility of a community."
A good character is the best tombstone.
Those who loved you will remember.
Carve your name on hearts, not on marble.

There seems to be an error on the memorial for this lady. The listed date of death 6 Aug 1911 seems to disagree with a statement on the page that she died while pregnant with her last child while traveling to Texas in Dec of 1916. Could you resolve this discrepancy please. Thank you!

Thank you for the information. Is that from someone's tree on familysearch.org? Family trees are not considered a source. When you get back home from traveling please send me your sources.
Thank you :)

Long shot -- are you related to her? Or is this just one of the many stones you graciously took pictures of and posted?
If any family members ever contact you, please put them in contact with me. It's one of my collateral lines I'm researching. Thank you!
|Lorri Chambless ||Roland Milton Henderson|
Thank you for sharing that he was one of 5 Rosston men who lost their lives in WWII. Roland Milton was my paternal grandmother's (Elva Henderson Bell)nephew being the son of her brother Charles Cleveland.
|Judyth Wagner Rigler||Memorial transfer request|
I'm a direct-line descendant of Ray Moore and the family historian. I request a transfer of this memorial, 47663066, to me so that I may add more details about his life and family.

I haven't found any document to verify her middle name, do you have one? Do you know where her baby was buried in Parker county?
|Peggy Coleman||Martha Ann Reed Abernathy, memorial# 82092947|
You have her dates as 26 Feb 1859 - 13 Jan 1912 and burial in Pisgah Cemetery in Pisgah, Giles Co., TN.
Memorial# 46301068 by Sue has her dates as 26 May 1853 - 27 Jan 1856 and burial in Sterling Abernathy Cemetery in Giles Co., TN.
They are both given as the daughter of Sterling Abernathy. Did he have 2 daughters named Martha Ann?

I am concerned about the changes made that I respectfully think are incorrect. I asked for help and the issue has become more complicated now. Please contact me and help me resolve this issue.
