I'm creating memorials to honor those who have completed their journeys here. I believe the Find A Grave burial registry helps us to preserve history and is an extremely useful genealogical tool. I especially love to hear from folks who have found a family member or friend through a memorial that I created, that gives real meaning to this work. If you have any corrections or additions to suggest on memorials that I have created, I will take care of them, usually within a week. If you want any records transferred to you that are not in my family, please do not hesitate to ask.

To my friends who have decorated the graves of my precious daughter, Tammy Jo Modglin, and my Mom and Dad, Dorothy Darlene Brown and Carmel Garth Brown, and my sister, Judith Ann "Judy" Brown, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness is very much appreciated, as I decorate also for as many as I can, too.

God Bless All Of You...

GEORGE MANSUR
Delaware Co Death Index states he was 57 when he died. I can't read this tombstone so that might be a typo?? I don't know however, the stone does say 51 or 57 yr 6 mos. I don't bel it has any days on there. Eliza was his 2nd wife. First wife was Almeda (Van Buskirk) but in Nottingham Cem.

Almeda (Van Buskirk) Mansur 1st wife of George Manusr died April 10, 1875 not 1876. That made her born March 25, 1839. She was the daughter of Daniel Van Buskirk & Nancy Funk. Following her death on Dec 18, 1875 her husb took out a license and married Eliza Jane Jones.

You can find this on Ancestry.

Her father is buried in Nottingham Cem although there is not picture of a stone yet. And I suspect her mother is buried there also.

GEORGE S MANSUR
I think the reason you can't find a stone for George S Manusr in Nottingham Cem Delaware Co IN is bec he didn't die in 1875.. He is still alive in 1880 with a wife named Eliza. In that home is Samuel (Almeda Van Buskirk's son) and then a Theodore Mansur who evidentally belongs to Eliza.
Then you have a stone for him Hawk Cem. I think if you do a little research you will find that these are the same man and he died in 1885 I can't read the stone but that is the date you have.

Cemetery Address
Hi Glenda,
Many thanks for setting up such a great record to locate resting places of our loved ones.
In relation to Rooske Cemetery, I would like to mention that the correct address for Rooske Cemetery, is in village of Dunboyne,Co Meath. Clonee is a village apx 2 miles away. There is a Cemetery in Loughsalla, Clonee,Co Meath which was as far as I am aware the original Cemetery that served Dunboyne and Clonee until the Rooske Road was opened.
Kindest regards, Connie Larkin

RE: Frank Vana
Thank you
I got into this when I had breast cancer the 1st time. It was something I could stop and start at anytime. Made it easy for me. My brother Michael Lee Markham b Mar 12 1964 Aurora, Kane Co, IL
died June 7 2017 AZ. My sister Irene LaVon Rolanda Markham was in a coma 6 months as result from a car accident in Tennessee.

Frank Vana (Vanna) b has different dates died in Elgin State Hospital and is buried there. as well as Sarah Ann Eaton Vana his wife. There was a fire and a family member burned up and they couldn't handle it. Frank Vanna's Father was Joseph and mother was Mary it says on death certificate.
Both my parents LaVerne R Vana-Markham and Lennis Ineda Long-Markham died from lung cancer, also
Milton Millie Vanna of stomach cancer and Robert William Vana-Markham heart attack. He went back and forth between Vana and Markham. Before his death legally changed to Vana as well as his only son Steve Markham-Vana.
Peter Vana Jr died from heart attack and Percy Vana-Markham heart attack.

John Bergholm their 1/2 brother was also heart attack I think. He married Marion Markham then married Alice Reynolds

If you find any info on Frank Please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it. plasticava@aol.com

If I can help with anything else please let me know.
Thank You

Emaline & Evaline Wolf
Hi Glenda, nice to meet you.

I now live in Mesa, Arizona, but have a long family history there in Auburn, Indiana. My great grandfather was Henry L Wolf, married to Catherine Harris. (11/26/59) They had 11 children According to our family records, Emaline & Evaline were twins born Dec 25, 1864. We are showing death dates of Feb 10, 1865 for Evaline and Sept 23, 1866 for Emaline.

My father was the son of Andrew Jackson Wolf (later changed to Wolfe) who was the 9th child of Henry and Catherine.

I'm not sure what the source was for our records. I would appreciate any insight you might share with me as to your source of information. If we have an error in our records, I would like to verify and correct it.

It is wonderful the service you give. What information do you collect? I do have a family portrait of Henry & Catherine with 8 of thier adult children. My father was able to identify and label those in the portrait.

Again, thank you for what you do.
