In early 2011 following the death of my mother at age 95, as I was cleaning out drawers and boxes, I came across scads of family genealogy information and photos that had been accumulated by my father and maternal grandparents over the years. Since that time, I have become obsessed with continuing to trace my family's lineage in the hopes of passing the information down to my children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.|
When I became stuck trying to find the death location of one of my second great grandfathers, Josephus Morgan, I found it on Find A Grave. I was so impressed with this website and the volunteer who had taken photos of his grave, I decided to become a volunteer and give something back to what I had been given. While I signed up to volunteer earlier in 2012, it is only in June that I have taken the plunge and claimed/fulfilled my first missions. I have been bitten by the bug, and hope to complete many more. My wife Marsha has joined me in helping to find sites and trimming the grass and sweeping the leaves off markers. I will be happy to transfer management of memorials I have created to any relative.

I am happy to have you add the headstone for Miriam to your family tree. The date does have a th, but I have seen errors in carvings before. It is my belief that the date as carved is May 1.
If you have information that it is a different date, I would be happy to note it in the memorial.

You absolute have permission to use my photo. Thanks for asking.
I haven't done as much on this part of my family tree as I should....
But the transcribed Rehoboth town records give 1 May 1722 as the date of death. Not sure how the "th" got on the gravestone!

Thank you, Peter for posting the picture of Lillian Tibbetts Anderson's grave site. It is my grandmother's final resting place and it brings me great comfort knowing where it is.

Anyway, I didn't see your message on my page until after I left the previous message. Actually, John was the only one I needed a photo for, but I appreciate the thought. Thank you.
