You're welcome. Their stone is amazing! It is very thin though. We put it back upside down to preserve it.

Micah Gross
Referring to #43442974, this Micah had a son Jonah with his second wife, Hannah Freeman. He is the father of Capt Micah Gross & grandfather of Micah Gross both of whom are buried at Quabbin Park near Ben F as I described before. so that is their connection to him.

RE: Ben Gross
Since I've done so much work on the Gross family grave sites, I'd really like to know which Micah you are descended from. Capt Micah Gross was quite famous as a soldier & is Ben's grea-great grandfather. Also, is this originally a German name?

Ben Gross
sorry it took so long to get back to you. I recently retruned to Quabbin Park Cemetery. the snow is long gone & I was able to find the Ben Gross stone & also who his parents were because the stone lists them as Emily (EmilY Ann Moore) & John L Gross He is buried next to his great-grandmother Elizabeth Dyer Gross & to her left is his great grandfather Capt. Michah Gross. His parents are in the row in front of him. His grandparents Micah Gross & Sarah Lamb Gross are also there. I think I mentioned to you before that the Gross burial area is quite large.

I will be putting those pics up as soon as I edit them & I will also make the correct interconnections. Ben's is hard to read, but I'm sure it's him due to the location & by tracing the letters with my fingers.

Thanks for checking the gravesite of Lois Reed & recording that her marker stone isn't there and among which gravestones she is buried.

Hi again! I think those stone next to William Allen "Allen" Smith ARE his parents! The numbers look exactly right! Maybe someday you will be up there again! Goodie! Please let me know!

William "Allen" Smith
Thank you so much for these photos!! How amazing that you JUST posted them! I don't remember if I ever asked for them. I am very fond of his father, b/c of his great letters he wrote to his sister my great grandmother. I'm just posting a drawing of him made by a friend when he was 19 somewhere abroad (maybe Germany) But I see there is no photo of his grave ódo you suppose it could be one of the ones in that same photo? I just put in a request for one. I think it is way cool that you put the names (William and Anna) on the photo! (Do you suppose if you go there again you could try to brush or wash away that stain over his first name? You have my permission!! It would be great!) Thanks again, from Judith Lee Howard Shea ("Lee" from Will Allen Smith's mother's middle name, and she got it from her grandparents) (Don't you love having ancestors? Someday we will meet them. If you believe that. I do!)
