Stephen Kellogg
Paula ...

We completed "Coleman County Cemetery Inscriptions" in 1988. At this time, two stones were in place for Ione, but none for Kellogg. Sometime after 1988, someone had her two stones removed and replaced with a common tombstone for both Ione and Stephen. There were three monument works in Coleman in 1988, but now only two of those are in business. They might be able to check their records ... maybe not. They can be found online.

Hope this is some help ...

Hello Paula, sorry for the delay. I got your e-mail on the 3rd. I meant to send you the pictures and scrapbook page right way but got side traced. I'll try and get it done tomorrow. Margaret

RE: Weldon Paul Rutherford
You are very welcome. Thought you might like to see my mother-in-law's memorial on Find-A-Grave, the lady Weldon was engaged to. She is buried in Snow Cemetery in Carroll County, Arkansas. The number is 52741122.
We found some more pictures you might be interested in. One is a picture of a young man we think may be Weldon. It is a part of the scrapbook so we don't have the original, just a scanned copy. Also there are a couple more grave pictures. We also have a scanned copy of a picture of Norene and Weldon that is in the scrapbook and a page that has Weldon's signature and a card that he may have given to her.
Your sister mentioned that your father's sister was married to a Merrell. What was your father's last name and what his sister's name was? Hopefully we can find out which Merrell she married.
One other thing, I found Weldon's death certificate on the Family Search website. I wanted to make sure that dates for his birth and death were correct. The date I posted on his memorial is the date the newspaper article states. According to his death certificate it should be 1910 instead of 1909.
If either you or your sister would like to have the pictures and other articles, I could e-mail them to you if you don't mind giving me your e-mail address.

Glad to help, Margaret
