A cemetery is not a place just to bury the dead. It should be a sacred place for quiet reflection, peace, tranquility, honor, and remembrance. It is a history of people and a perpetual record of yesterday.|
Love begins with a smile...grows with a kiss...and ends with a teardrop....
I will not use chalk, shaving cream, brake fluid or any other potentially harmful methods to enhance the inscriptions. Please do not use these on any photo requests I make, Thank you so very much.
Although FINDAGRAVE can be very useful for genealogy, FINDAGRAVE, as the name implies, is a grave registration site, not a genealogy site. I try to use this as my guide when on this site.
I will NOT add a link to a burial unknown memorial because I am still actively looking for where the person is actually buried. This site is named Find a GRAVE for a reason.
I, Gary Boughton, give you permission to use any photo I have taken, if you are kind enough to give me credit for the photo. (Everyone likes to recognized for their time & effort) Thanks so very much.

Gary, have gladly made the requested transfer to your care.
|Richard Arthur Fenner||Riley Fenner|
Thanks for adding the links. Do you have any idea who the father of Riley Fenner was?
|Jim Ottmer||Sarah G Rhoades Camp|
Thank you Gary for the transfer. I will take good care of the memorial and you have done a great job of setting it up. I will contact person posting photo because I believe it is on the wrong memorial.
Thank you again for your kindness.

Thank you for your quick reply. I appreciate it!

I am SO glad you asked for this because I realized what the problem is. Mountain View Cemetery is listed in Bristol, TN, and Mountain View Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum is actually for sure in Bristol, VA and is listed correctly that way. Now I have to see if they are the same cemetery that was first put in correctly. These two listings are for the same person - Albert Lee Bouton.

Mountain View Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum
Find A Grave Memorial# 179970763
Mountain View Cemetery
According to the TnGenweb Cemetery Database, there is a Mountain View Cemetery in Sullivan, TN. I have messed this up! Albert Lee Bouton is definitely in the VA cemetery. (I've seen his stone.)

I noticed that I made these changes to the findagrave list under "Mountain View Cemetery". There is a second list for this cemetery under "Mountain View Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum". Do I need to upload them to both then? Is there anyway for someone to merge these two listings?
Thanks for all you do!

I made note of your comment about the 2 possible gravestones for Timothy Keeler. I am thinking the original one, the photograph you took, where it has 1815 is correct, not 1813. I do believe the 1813 stone is an error and not a separate Timothy Keeler... not sure if you had anymore feedback on the matter? But today I found his will on Ancestry; microfilm page 1358 of 1578 "Connecticut Wills & Probate Records...". Reading it, you find that he wrote the actual will on 26 Mar 1812. The Will's administrators, Matthew Olmstead and Thaddeus Keeler 2nd, appeared before the court on 28 Feb 1815. So that is why I feel the 1815 is correct. Thanks for the note about using the photograph of the stone you posted. Very helpful! Jane.
I noticed you left a large number of edits for the Boughton graves I manage. Do you want me to transfer them to you?
