Bio and Links
Bio Photo The cemeteries are one of the best ways to gather information such as birth/death dates, marriage dates, spouse's name, family members, etc. This site has been a treasure box for us, we hope to give back a little information in return.
Only a genealogist can appreciate the excitement of finding a picture of that ancestor or their marker.
Additional information & or corrections are welcome.
Will be glad to transfer any memorial, unless it is one of our family.
Thank You

RE: Charles L & Billie F Strange grave marker
Hi! I guess I have done that a few times - taken a picture and accidentally fulfilled someone elses request. The picture of the stone is enough for me. I have lots of grave photo requests for cemeteries in your county, if interested. Judy

Gravestone Photo Permission
I am happy to see that you photographed the gravestone of Joyce Gail Alford Logan in Forest Hill Cemetery (Memorial# 106969645).

I would like to add this gravestone photo to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Alabama Obituaries, where her obituary is (or will be) included. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/ALOBIT.htm.

May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, the photo caption will say:

Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographers, Mr & Mrs [or your names if you prefer]

And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

Best regards,
Pamela Alford Thompson (Find A Grave #47195155)

Malcolm C Hinton
Malcolm Claude Hinton is the son of LTC Malcolm Hinton

LTC Hinton was my Grandmother ( Ava Nell Hinton Harris) baby Brother.

I knew Malcolm Claude. He got a kidney transplant, the Doctors thought he was having a rejection, shot him full of steroids and it was pneumonia. of course he died. He was a very smart guy.

LTS Hinton also had a daughter. Her name is Shirley.

Will & Lela Breedlove
I'm hoping you can help me, I'm a bit confused. I visited my grandparent's graves in 1996. They were in a small family cemetery, along with my great grandmother, Fannie Biddle, my aunt, Lois Breedlove Sirman, a baby of theirs who died young, Loyd Breedlove, and some other family members. There couldn't have been more than 8 - 12 graves. The cemetary was surrounded by a barbed-wire fence and had a metal arch with a star over the gate. Last night I saw the gate in a photo at Betts Cemetery, but Betts Cemetary looks rather large and has a list of over 200 people buried there. I emailed someone else whose info was on the web page and described the situation just as I have to you.
Did someone move my relatives' graves? And, why was the photo of the gate removed?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you,

Betsy Breedlove
