I'm a retired chemical engineer living in the Houston area, though my wife and I grew up in Austin, Texas. We are researching the branches of our family that spread from Central Texas to East Texas, over to Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and all the way up to Ohio. We have found this site to be extremely helpful to us, and we hope that we will add information that will be of help to others.|
We have been searching Texas, Georgia and Ohio cemeteries for Cox, Whitt, Koos, Blower, Stewart, Davis, Cherry, Ely, Hubbard, Zimmer, Miller, Watson, Cross, Hurley, Locke, and Braly, but in the process of looking for our relatives, we have been taking additional photographs, especially in cemeteries where not many photos are available. YOU MAY USE ANY OF OUR HEADSTONE PHOTOS without asking our permission; however, we would appreciate receiving credit for our photo.
If we manage a memorial for your relative, and it is not someone related to us, we will be more than happy to transfer the management to you. Unlike some contributors, we usually do transfer non-direct relatives such as cousins, aunts and uncles.

I would like to thank you for taking the picture of my mom's headstone (Emily Lynn Gladden Runyon). I also live in Austin, Tx and all of my family in Ohio is gone...so I do not travel there.
I appreciate your thoughtfulness very much :)

Thankyou so much for the information, it all sounds about right comparing with what little bit my mother has told me. Thanks again.

I just received your other message, Thankyou ever so much. It really does give me a good place to start. My mother said that she could only remember my grandmother bertha having some sisters possibly named: silvia, lucille or "lucy",cibil, and we remember her other 2 sisters earlie and ruby. She said that grandmother bertha also had brothers but didn't know there names. It's been difficult to trace any of her siblings down due to they probably went by married last names if they were married. Thankyou so much though for the information that you found it will really help me find out more. If you do come across any more information, i would greatly appreciate anything else that you may find. Again thanks so much!

Hi, Thankyou for the information and all i know is that my great grandmother roberta roberson at one time was married to earl roberson, i know where he is buried and his last wife but i don't know anything about my great grandmother besides her daughter my grandmother bertha lee roberson hinton. I knew my grandmother and know where she is buried, i just would like to know where her mother is buried at. She lived in Georgia cause that's where my grandmother was born. That's all I know unfortunately. As far as the cox side of my family i am finding those fairly easy, they are mostly from greenville sc and Westminster sc. I don't think any of them are related to any of your cox family. Thanks again for your response. Any other information you may find on my great grandmother would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to locate this grave site at Colbert City Cemetery, Colbert, GA. Noticed you left flowers. Can you share with me any more info about this person. Husband - Father - Mother ?? I believe I found the lot in the cemetery, but there is no grave stone for her! Appreciate your time. Gwen Lott #47774201
