Currently researching the following lines related to Ferguson roots: |
Allison, Alyea, Dawson, Delong, Ferguson, Gerow, Gonyea, Lyman, Mikel, Moon, Mouck, Neal, Snider.
Happy to help with local photos, if needed. I'm in the general triangle map area of Colborne, Campbellford (Trent Hills) and Brighton. In-between are towns and hamlets like Castleton, Salem, Warkworth, Morganston, etc.. Often times addresses for some local cemeteries are shown as "Cramahe" (the township name).

|JoDy||Nora May Walker Find A Grave Memorial# 127792481|
Thank you for creating a memorial for Nora May Walker. I have submitted some edits but just wanted to explain:
Nora's maiden name was ABRAHAM. Her first husband was Conley Addison PARK. They were married on 3 October 1907 in Paris, Brant County, Ontario.
Her second husband was Charles Adam WALKER. They were married on 14 May 1925 in Hagersville, Haldimand County, Ontario.
I added Nora's maiden name and put her 2 married names in the surname spot. I wasn't too sure how to do this. You may want to add the above marriage information above to the bio section. Her parents were John Clark ABRAHAM and Mary Catherine DUHIG. I haven't yet found her parents burial information but will submit that when available.

Same goes for my pictures for your use. Thank you!
Hi Greg, Just getting caught up on some family history. May I use her picture (& the others) on my family tree giving you full credit?

Thanks for the information. If you get this message in time, can you look at James SIM's stone (you took a previous photo of it) and take photos of the 3 other sides of the monument- I believe his stone also has Eliza, Mary Ann and William SIM on each of the other sides. If you can do it, I will add photo requests to my existing memorials. But, don't make a special run for it. Also, does your CD have the death dates for William and Mary Ann?

Hi Greg. You took a photo of the gravestone for James SIM for me. I was wondering if you have any information on other graves in this cemetery that may not have markers. I am looking for 2 of James' children with the names Emma and Willie. Perhaps you have a list of graves for Salem? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hey Greg you live near Castleton? Would you be interested in taking some pics from the Macklin Cemetery and vicinity? Thanks!
Hi Greg. My name is Joe. Regarding Emmet Reginald Ferguson, I am his great granddaughter's husband so I have some info for you. His children were Alec (or Alex), Emmet, Frank, Fred, Ruth and MaryAnne. Frank and Fred (who they call "Bub") are still alive. Frank is 80 and in poor health so I need to talk to him soon and see if I can get some more info from him. Frank's daughter is named Joan, who married Bruce Kellar (whose parents are also buried in Cobourg Union) and gave birth to a daughter named Johanna, who is my wife. I've been doing genealogy research on my side of the family for a couple years now and have turned my focus over to my wife's side and your bio on Emmet has helped a lot and has been very informative. Emmet has at least one son buried in Cobourg Union as well, and I just added him: Alex James Ferguson (who they called "Alec"). Thanks for posting the things you did. Talk to you soon.

|Dan Lanteigne||Warkworth Cemetery|
I have a photo request for Warkworth Cemetery. I have a John Paul Lanteigne buried there and I have a photo of his stone but both his wife and daughter has passed on since the photo was taken and I would like an updated photo. His wife is Lillian Grace is on the same stone and his daughter Christine Lutz is listed on the back of the stone. I would appreciate an updated photo. Thanks in advance
