I am an amateur historian and see this work as one way to document and publish some of the "history" of the every day heros who lived and died in their local communities. You may feel free to use the information or pictures, without attribution, if they help further your genealogy work in any way. Sharing the information is the whole point.I would be happy to amend, remove or transfer ownership of a memorial to anyone who requests me to do so.Thank you for letting me share this small piece of your family history.Brian

correction to my correction
Oops . . . I realize I made one mistake in what I reported earlier. Peter Weber was actually married twice. His first wife was Louisa Baumgartner and she is actually the mother of Lillian Weber Brehm, not Magdalena Schmidt-Auer Weber. That really wouldn't affect the correction to Annita M. Brehm Nigbor's parents. I'm sorry for any confusion. Katie Reemsnyder

Annita M. Brehm Nigbor correction
Hi Brian, Thank you for all of the great work you do! I did notice something in my family that needs to be corrected. Annita M. Brehm Nigbor is listed as a child of Peter Weber & Magdalena Schmidt-Auer Weber. She is actually the daughter of John Brehm & Lillian Weber Brehm (a daughter of Peter & Magdalena Weber). The fact that she was the wife of Theadore Nigbor is correct. I know this because she was my great-aunt. Thanks,
Katie Reemsnyder

Edit of a family member
Hi Brian,
I have sent in multiple edits for a family member, just wondering if you are still managing the memorial, I not, I would like it transferred to me.
Please let me know if you receive this message.
regards,

Fam Croegaert
Hi Brian,
The family Croegaert also appears in my family tree. I see there is a Camiel Mell Croegaert.
Born 29 Oct 1893 in Annawan.
Although the name is written everywhere as
Comiel Mell Croegaert
"Comiel" stand for the Flemish name Camiel or Kamiel. this Case it would be Camiel.
I know it looks strange but there is no Flemish name that they would have given their child being Comiel. I guess it's in the pronunciation between the English and the Flemish and what the clerk heard when they registered him by birth.
So I would go by Camiel, this is a typical Belgian name. Kind regards
Werner Vols.

Roddis/Deethardts
Thank you so much for your lightening fast edits. I am always thrilled to connect family members together. Even though the Deethardts are not direct family they are related by marriage.
Thanks again for your help.
